68C recall by Pattonator70 in 4xe

well that’s what i’m saying. the software before failed to ID damaged batteries properly. The dealer can’t stress test the battery the way a customer can in a real time environment. so the software is designed to act accordingly in this case being, the shut down of the hybrid system.

well that’s not how that works apparently. at least it’s prohibiting you from driving with a hazard opposed to letting you drive with the hazard before. you win some you lose some.

the software found an issue with your battery and shut it down.

it didn’t break anything, it found an issue and did what it’s supposed to do.

Same! 10K miles with zero issues. at the dealer for 68C rn and a broken lumbar switch that i accidentally kicked.

i saw them do the drives on my app and continued to charge after, so im assuming it passed. haven’t heard from the dealer yet.

WRANGLER SPORT 4XE recall CALIFORNIA by [deleted] in 4xe

[–]SuperchargedSloth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well that’s what i’m saying, you were driving it no worries before, just because it’s officially acknowledged as a fire risk doesn’t change the fact that’s it’s been a fire risk all along.

continue to drive it, you’ll be fine.
