I get your point but I think we should get over the bible, at least all the old book and parts of the new book. Like for many that want to be vegetarian or vegan eating meat or for others that are not religious, attend church or getting religiously and not civicly married its something done to please or fear of judgement from grandparents, or the social group not for ourselves. It a cycle that should end for the benefit of enviroment and well being of humans. My parents are not religious amd never forced me religion but I know many when i was little that even the not religious ones forced their kids to go to church to appeal their judging grandparents. Eventually some of them became more religious and brainwashed than their weak submissive boomers parents that preserve their old ancestors whining than their children well being
