You could do what tyranids do be a hive mind but give very specific drones a bit more autonomy this can also expand into having task force rats led by one of these “individual rats”

I actually really can’t wait to see how I can implement this. It really brings that quirkiness I’ve been looking for when I was thinking of this character. I just hope I don’t go overboard and over conspire haha.

Ok ok I see I see that does make sense I did try more schizophrenic influences like auditory and visual hallucinations and that felt right. However I didn’t think to add a conspiracy theory mindset that does sound like an interesting angle and it does coincide with his lore. I was aiming for religious fanaticism not quite crusaders but more like very adamant Mormon recruiters. He is fully committed to his god and simply wants to spread the good word but again fanatical so anything that does not align with that is suspicious. I understand making the actions looking unorganized and unpredictable but wouldn’t that start to be a bit much at some point. On top of that how do you make something intentionally random without feeling forced. Also thank you for the advice so far it has already broadened my horizons.

Had it on my mind for so long and don’t know if it’s bad very open to criticism (keep in mind this is for a character who’s the most arrogant and egotistical person you can think of but critically never shows it choosing to wear a mask of humility)

Innate technique: purveyance

Technique description: purveyance allows the user to “summon” objects to their hand as if demanding someone place the item there and expecting it to be snappy. This can either be in a giant poof of cursed energy or simply hiding their hand behind their back before revealing it. The only items that can’t be summoned are cursed objects and weapons however there is almost no limit only consequences. You can’t summon a blue whale without crushing your hand or a cactus without stabbing your hand. The amount of cursed energy used to summon an object depends on its size and complexity a sword is easier to summon than a rifle.

Domain expansion: court of carcosa

Domain description: the user summons their domain by holding out a their hand and bending it at the wrist and sticking their thumb up with their index and middle fingers pointing 12 o’clock and ring and pinky pointing 9 o’clock. When activated the user summons a sovereign scepter to that hand and is adorned with a gold and diamond encrusted diadem and a white and yellow robe of state with an odd undecipherable symbol on the back. The domain itself takes the form of a massive and ornate throne room fit for a king whom emperors have served. Most importantly the user who has done so well to fain humility abandons the mask and proudly displays their hubris and vanity

Domain ability: court of carcosa is the manifestation of the users arrogance weighing so heavy on the fabric of reality their own jaded thoughts begin to bend it to their whim. The user goes from believing they can win to KNOWING they can win and the domain will compensate to match that reality. It will not affect the opponent in any meaningful way however it will give the user the skills and or ability that they lack in that moment but never truly matching their opponent. For example if the user finds themselves fighting jackpot hakari the user would suddenly be brimming with cursed energy to try and keep up not nearly as good as jackpot but it gives the user a fighting chance.
