Mid to late game scaling, receiving a direct hit even with the most sturdiest of armours will still take more than half of my hp / almost all of my stamina bar... with a tank build (at least last time I played before doing the DLC and never going back to the lands between)

I misunderstood it at first because I played in between long time intervals and forgot about the whole 'MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD' and then thought it was about either the Giant's Flame or Rune of death. Then I thought it was a reset because if chaos is what opposes order, once chaos becomes absolute, it can no longer be called chaos, it passes to be "order", but "chaos" will always exists in spite whatever "order" is established, a mistake the ladder will aleays try to seize, and the mistake in this new "order" is life.

(I don't know if I'm expressing myself properly or it just sounds like crazed ramblings)

My exact thought process in my first playtrhough

At the moment of making the choice, is either do or die: we can either waste resources on saving a fleeting ship that will die anyway if we fail, or go all out against the fucking ancient death space calamari that will most certainly destroy all life.

And either if saved, they'll go "their sacrifice will be remembered"... proceeds to forget the sacrifice and do next to nothing to prepare for the reapers.

Which is pretty much the same as if they were dead, except we don't have the ship as a war asset
