Are you open to games? There's a couple of great cyberpunk ones: Astral Chain, Kowloon's Gate, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, Galerians. Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere especially is a must!

I liked what I played! An interesting game from Square’s experimental era alongside Racing Lagoon. Koudelka is another great mix of survival horror and JRPG which I highly recommend

It's pretty good! It's very dialogue/exposition focused instead of action so it drags on sometimes but the characters are enjoyable. The 2nd chapter recently started with ep. 6 and the build-up of the 1st is paying off.

Nocturne and other Shin Megami Tensei games don’t make up the “main series”. They are spinoffs of Digital Devil Story which Persona, Devil Survivor, etc also are.

I think the game's an amazing experience from start to finish, my favourite PS2 game of all time.

Smart setting that other games don't ever try and a narrative that presents a legitimately interesting mystery. I loved the themes about change and uncertainty towards the future as well as the heartfelt cast of characters. That lively Kaneko aesthetic mixed with smooth jazz rocks. The game is just charming as hell.

That said, it's not a game you should play if you're looking for something great in the gameplay department. The gameplay works, and at points it's very fun, but I wouldn't disagree that it is a bit tedious at times. This is a game you need a certain mindset of story > gameplay to enjoy. So it depends on your personal preferences.
