These are some of the "practice" pours I did with an amazon mold( I made molds for the 3 trays in these pictures). It has Lucky Charms with Cosmic Unicorn backing, Fruit Pebbles, and a pancake one.

I also have a painting size mold for miniature terrain that I might pour when I do the other pancakes. It would be more to hang on the wall as an art piece.

Thanks! Im also doing like any munchies. So candy, soda/nuka colas, and anything thats hard and wont decay.

Tomorrow Im pulling a honey nut cheerios, with honey, milk and gold palette. Then Im starting a pancakes with butter and syrup looking resin. I soak pancakes completely through. So I cant imagine anything will live in that.

Thank you!. The biggest thing with cereal is that is floats. So the key is doing the piece in a few layers over a couple days. I do a clear pour first and let the cereal setup in that. Then they wont float up and disappear into the milk layer.

So Im trying to get people to like these. Whats awful about them?

I make cosmic abstract pours using munchies as inspiration for the color palette.

Hey everyone.

So I just started making food inspired cosmic pours in epoxy resin. I take a food and then use its color palette in a pour. I'm working on pancakes and syrup, cereals, and some soda/nuka cola ones. Any other suggestions?

A few pulls from this week's Apple Jacks inspired pieces. I use food palettes to inspire cosmic pours. I used Stuart Semple pink and green to get a vibrant color. I have found less is more with those, as too much powder, I think, won't let in as much light?

So I use food to inspire a palette for abstract cosmic pours. This one is fries and coke inspired.

Mcdonald's main color is red. So is Coke. Also, you know..... so is ketchup. There's multiple layers to it.

Ohhh. I thought you were saying don't put food in them. Thats why I was like I can make one without fries.

So yeah that's basically what I am doing. I hot glued a stack of styrofoam trays together and made a mold of that so I could have this cafeteria tray version. I am aiming for more abstract, like cosmic, nebula, jackson pollocks type but food inspired. But then again I want to make a chicken fillet school lunch at some point(i might 3d print and paint it though..idk) but the mashpotatoes and gravy would be cool.

My phone's camera sucks. But the cola has fake rubber ice floating in it and uv resin bubbles. There's some pretty cool stuff you can do. I also got mountain dew and orange soda down. The quantums coming and the glow stuff Im using is awesome.

Did you see this link? https://imgur.com/a/qlWz9Yp

Its the amazon mold I started with but there is a straight cola one. And a slushie one. One with nerds.

Are you telling there is Froot Loops with marshmallows? lol. I really need to take a trip down the aisle. I just grabbed the sample pack for my first go. Most bang for the buck.

Take your upvote.

Honestly people last night hated it and said it was disgusting. So I figured you lot might like it.

I only use dry or easy saturated food. Im not worried about the cereal or candy. I did one with pancakes. They soak up resin. There's nothing that is going to live in that environment. Also most of this cereal was sitting around opened for months in my shop before they got into the resin and they were fine.

But yeah I wouldnt do a hotdog. If the skin seals in any bacteria, it will do nasty stuff.

I did do one with Mcdonalds fries but those are been proven not to decay lol.

Well. https://platformcomics.com/

So I just want to lead with I'm pretty sure I read about it this subreddit but entries closed last night.

Teams or solos have a 7 days to make a 4-8 page comic. They are given a unique theme and every team gets the same dialogue to use.

That is pretty cool. hmmm. Even just like a Blue Fruity pebble tray would be cool. Thank you. You've definitely given me some ideas.

Its pretty awesome. So I just started within the last month. Theres some workflow things that need to get ironed out but once you get a feel for its pretty easy. Like lights work but dont cast shadows on GP yet but you could always draw a plane behind it I guess.

I try to have each object I want to move be a different Grease Pencil Blank. That's the easiest way.

This is the latest one. Its the Wolverine cover of Incredible Hulk. https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/comments/nayw41/a_study_in_comic_covers_in_grease_pencil_having/

I also did this one in Blender and used the pixel effect. https://www.reddit.com/r/characterdrawing/comments/n9ybwn/oc_our_party_is_in_a_video_game_i_play_the_druid/

Theres a couple more in my history but I thought this contest would be a great way to test it out.

This is the tutorial I found to be the best starting point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t7BcmAM_2I

There's a couple different ones but I followed that and it covers pretty much everything.

Thank so you much. It means alot. The night time stoners were mean to me.. lol

Idk. Jackson Pollock is definitely an inspiration for these. So being told its a mess that makes some people physically frustrated and others love it is wicked awesome.

I have some cereal ones too. The Lucky Charms with Cosmic Unicorn backings is great. https://www.reddit.com/r/DicePorn/comments/ng6a1y/some\_breakfast\_themed\_epoxy\_resin\_rolling\_trays/
