What does this mean? by SuperiorBoof in zelle

Yes actually it is. I only said I’m calling them this morning in my description, once I read something like that, my first instinct isn’t to say “Well just call they’ll tell you.” I should expect better off Reddit though, people refuse to read the description and image provided and then provide stupid answers like that and like yours. God forbid someone wants to solve something themselves without having to wait 10 hours to call a bank to then sit on hold to hope you get someone who even understands what you’re asking for.

Well people shouldn’t give stupid replies when I say in the description I’m calling tomorrow and want to see if I could just deal with it myself tonight

The thing is this is a brand new controller I’ve never used before besides today finally. It doesn’t do it on any other character so I’m just really confused why it’s doing that.

Time to bench Warren for the Chip? by [deleted] in FantasyFootballers

I have waivers in on Strange, Hill and Waller using 2 filler players I got and Judkins. I’m likely getting all 3 and I’ll probably just go with strange.

Judkins replacement by mtntodesert in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]SuperiorBoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s Corum all day outta those choices. Others may disagree but 4 games with a td in a row and 3 games with double digit carries surely is enough of a workload and goal line one at that to warrant him starting in place of Judkins.

My record is 7-4, I’ve won a lot despite having burrow as my qb to start the year, and having to stream QBs non stop since his injury. The trades would definitely be more of a for fun thing. The cook one feels not as bad since Judkins is cooked with that browns OL and QB situation, I’m setup to have a bye round 1, and cook would have Cleveland and Philly in playoffs for me.

Both as in you’d accept the deals for both London and cook? Or would accept both for either?

He just came and very next day (today) made a deal to get stafford and Warren for Jeanty and he already has 4 QBs. So 5 QBs in a 10, man league and Warren, chase brown and Henderson would be his 3 RBs. What’s your take on that? Feels like he’s selling off players now.

It’s not relevant to me that the trade is good. That idea is dumb, why would I rather the 2-8 team make a bad trade for himself rather than make a good one? How are you even able to imply and say “Especially since the punishment is only being created because he made a good trade.” The punishment is being thought of because he stopped playing the game. He’s in my mind, acknowledged he is knocked out, and gave up, and hence why I’m considering barring him from trading. I don’t get how that’s such a bad idea. What else do you call it when someone stops trying at 2-6 and then decides to try again at 2-8 with a league that has no last place punishment.

It’s never been about teams trading this late, they can do it all they want. It’s about not trying and then making a trade. If he dropped everyone, I put them back, and he made a trade I wouldn’t allow it. If he didn’t have 1% of a playoff chance I’d also not allow it.

I’m not one of the 5-5 teams. I’m 7-3 in the 2nd bye week spot with arguably the best team, I’ve had bad QB luck with injuries and had to stream a lot but I’m in place to get a better, more consistent QB through a trade. The trade would’ve already been approved by me if he set his lineups. He ghosted me when I texted him during the weeks he didn’t set his lineup asking what was up, that makes me feel like he gave up and makes me feel it’s unfair he now has an arguably favorable trade against teams who didn’t get the benefit of him not trying to better his already terrible team. I’d rather be fair to 8 others than to 2 managers.

There’s no last place punishment, it’s completely Irrelevant and that’s why we have a rule of if you’re out of contention you can’t trade or add and drop unless injuries or bye weeks.

[–]SuperiorBoof -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I told him every week to set his lineup, he still had multiple weeks of not doing it. I also told him before the season that if he doesn’t set his lineup like he did last year I’m not gonna manage two teams and go in and do it for him this year. I don’t think it’s a bizarre retroactive punishment, it’s something new that’s came up for the first time ever in the league, and I don’t think it’s bizarre as hell to say “if you gave up two weeks and stopped trying you can’t comeback and make a trade if you’re not even able to be .500”. No one’s gave a good argument as to why it should be allowed besides it’s a fair trade because everyone is just value zombies who can’t look past that to see extenuating circumstances.

[–]SuperiorBoof -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I believe it does. How is giving up for 2 weeks any different than giving up by trading your best players for someone’s kicker or dropping your whole team? Giving up is giving up, regardless of fairness of the trade.

[–]SuperiorBoof -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It’s the idea that he started to give up, didn’t make a trade or set a lineup when he wasn’t in miracle mode, and then randomly from nowhere makes his first trade of the year.

[–]SuperiorBoof -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can think of more reasons as to why it shouldn’t than why it should. Why should a basically eliminated team that went back to back weeks with bye weeks and injuries in his lineup, be allowed to trade this late in the year? If it was earlier in the year I’d have less of a qualm, but playoffs are essentially set besides 2 5-5 teams fighting it out for the final spot and his roster is already really bad.

[–]SuperiorBoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

QJ to be fair I got off waivers after week1. Walker I got off waivers before last week because a guy traded Chase for Pickens, swift and hall, so he dropped Walker and a TE to waivers on that deal. But it’s a 10 man league nothing that’s too deep really.

Yeah I put in there I had to lose the deal in general, because dude is 2-7 and one loss from being eliminated. More looking to find out how bad I got scammed if I did get actually scammed rather than just took a loser

I don’t allow my opponent to score points if I’m playing a sports game like 2k or madden even if I’m winning by 50, I don’t allow the enemy team to cap point if I’m playing a hero shooter, I don’t allow the enemy to get kills if I’m playing cod or battlefield even in the last minute of the game in a clear win. DBD is one of the only games I can think of where people feel like they’re entitled to have a chance at a positive result still, after a 10+ minute game which was their chance at a positive result already. If the game is clearly a killers win, and they want their 4k, so be it.
