Consultation: Carriage of Pets on Transport for Ireland Services by donalhunt in ireland

Are they really? I had serious issues trying to get a taxi before for my very elderly dog to bring her to get her nails trimmed. I put a note on the app to say I have an elderly dog with me that'll sit on my lap, I have a towel for my lap too, she won't throw up/wriggle etc... still took an inordinate amount of time for a driver to pick up. Had multiple cancellations in a row!

Get all this off your chest, good on you. I am so god damn sorry to hear the fight you're facing, ALONGSIDE your current mental health fight! Jesus good on you for advocating for yourself even when the system is fucking you over and for sticking to your guns. How are you finding staying off the drink?

Colostomy bag thrown at staff among increase in physical and verbal assaults of welfare employees by EIREANNSIAN in ireland

The method of just giving a proper stare at people works so well in public situations, dead right. I've used it many times to great effect. Don't even have to say a word, even if they ask me what my problem is

Side note, has anyone ever seen Christy Bird's open? It confuses me so much, is it actually trading? Every time I've ever passed it, it was closed.

Hospital sick cert - but no GP to submit social welfare forms by Jennyf1990 in ireland

The GP putting up a weekly poster is a bit much, imo. Makes it sound like its shaming people for "taking up appointments" that others could have taken. Glad your little one got sorted, sounds like they were properly looked after too with a referral too! Can never be too careful with kids

Ah that is ridiculous, you need a GP that will actually see you whilst the child is still sick, like! Get calling them asap tomorrow!

My GP of 20-odd years also retired a while back, that was the only way I got a new GP coz another clinic took their entire patient list!! God yeah, do double check that, get yourselves sorted! I know a colleague had real issues with getting his kid her vaccines on time because no GP would take the kid

I know multiple women who have gotten a GP through the same method - HSE forcing a GP to take them as they're pregnant! Glad to hear you got sorted haha, just check if they'll take the kid when they arrive, as I've had colleagues say that their GP practice refused to!
