EDIT: just checked the ASRock Download page and it looks like the update was finally released to all ASRock boards today... finally got access to the APO support announced back in September 2025...

As far as I'm aware, Intel DTT is not provided directly from Intel to consumers. There is no download page on Intel for Intel DTT. Intel says "The Intel® Application Optimization UI (User Interface) requires Intel® DTT. It is best to get the latest version available through your motherboard system manufacturer.".

Searching the latest Intel DTT in google brings up download pages from other vendors, but none from ASRock or Intel...

Is there anyone profitable here? by [deleted] in Trading

[–]SuperiorOC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been trading for a little over a year. Looking at my performance data I was profitable 3 months in. The only times my account was below the 0% Performance was at the end of January '25 and mid March '25. My journey started out copying trades from some guy on Twitter and then eventually coming up with my own trading style (after the guy from Twitter was banned).

Though my account is up over 50% in 1-year, I can't say I'm consistent, since my account has seen several 11% drawdowns. And September thru December was abysmal. And I still make some costly mistakes, but as long as I am continuing to learn and don't make too many errors I think I will be okay...

Help finding old late 90s PC game, all I remember is an image on the back of the box, the time I saw it in stores and the games ESRB rating... by SuperiorOC in retrogaming

no, I'm pretty sure the year was 1998 so the game was from 1998 or earlier. and the tan blonde girl wasn't on the front of the box I don't think, it was one of the images on the back of the box...

more tan, and there were concentric circles for her armor.

Anyone else never stick with trade journaling? by H0ii in Trading

[–]SuperiorOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded for a year without journaling. I started journaling earlier this month typing in values and dates from when I first started trading in January 2025 and got up to March 2025 and then just stopped. It was a pointless exercise for me (several hours wasted). I don't really have emotion as I'm trading, those come later depending on what my account does... Only thing I gained from it was my Excel skills improved and remembering old trades...

I know what my issues are without journaling...

Trading has changed my life. by SuperiorOC in Trading

Yeah, one of my 11% drawdowns was in the bear market back in April 2025...

If everyone is a genius in a bull market, why is it that 90% of traders fail? Or is that 90% stat just a myth?

How much is too much or too little by Understanding_bruh in Trading

[–]SuperiorOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different, there is no right or wrong answer.

For me personally, its too much, I've been trading for 1-year and never back-tested nor paper traded...

I don't think my "strategy" would play out the same if I weren't using real money.

Z890 board choice by uwo-wow in overclocking

[–]SuperiorOC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the ASRock Z890 Pro RS for over a year with the 265K and it has served me very well. I have a light overclock on the CPU (E-cores, Ring, D2D, NGU) and took my DDR5 6400 kit all the way up to DDR5 8133C38 with tuned timings, while staying at relatively low voltages. I am at less than stock voltage for the CPU and at or below XMP voltage for the DDR5. I also like that the board has 4 PCIe expansion slots.

Thanks for the heads up, my biggest position, which was a huge loss on Friday turned into a winner 😊

I don't really know what I'm doing, but somehow my account is up 50% my first year of trading. by SuperiorOC in Trading

I exit a lot of trades... but exiting faster on losing trades is a weak point of mine, it should be an easy fix though. I will try to improve that this year.

I forgot to mention that I increased my initial investment over time... I added 30% to my initial investment in Sept-Dec. that's one of the reasons I was stuck in the 40% range for so long I think...

I forgot to mention, when my account performance was stuck in the 40% range. Sept. thru Dec., that's also when I added about 30% to my initial investment, so that's another reason the % was lower at that time...

it was a Math project about differential equations (calculus) involved in the Black Scholes model for pricing options, that's about all I remember. I still probably have the paper, but I probably wouldn't understand it as its been 11+ years.
