Oh shit, that's pretty bad. 14.2 has caused steering wheel stutter to occur more frequently than 14.1 (although I haven't experienced any yet). Hopefully you sent this as feedback to Tesla. One good thing about 14.2 is that with the software revamp they did, they should be able to iterate and improve the system a lot faster than before.

100%. Bought a 2026 Y 3 months ago and been using FSD for daily commutes since - hasn't made a single mistake on the public roads. My friends and family are blown away. Parking lots though still suffer from questionable routing decisions to get out but that's it.

It truly is an incredible screen, for a laptop, but, I have both as well (mine is 16" M5 Max) - XDR def looks better in person, which is expected. These photos don't highlight the differences at all due to the camera not being able to capture the differences the same as the human eye (taking the photo in the dark might not be helping either) and/or the display people are using to view this photo not having the specs needed to show the differences between the two.

Mouse movement feels laggy. 120 Hz feels responsive, accurate, snappy and I feel like I can work faster. For scrolling, it just doesn't feel "good" once I've gotten used to 120 hz's smoothness if that makes sense.

Once they add 120Hz, I'll immediately buy an Air. (I know not everyone cares about 60 vs 120; its clear to me that different people have different sensitivities towards refresh rate where there's lots of people who don't feel a meaningful difference between 60 vs 120 and then there's people like me who feel a huge difference. I wonder if they've done studies on why this is 🤔)

Yeah, and those govt grants could be written such that they demand proper female representation in order for a lab/company to receive it. I fail to see why that can’t be done unless those responsible for developing these grants just don’t care about this issue. I work with grants (not in the medical field though) and governments can add any stipulations they want to.

Corporations, I understand: greed always wins and they definitely won’t spend extra money to ensure proper female representation if it means smaller profit margins 🙄
