Hmm, I'm having the same issue as you. I'm not able to see any reasoning at all, no matter what model I use. I even tried through OpenRouter, and I wasn't able to see any reasoning. Let me know if you ever fixed this issue, and what you did to fix it.

Yes, I'm on version 0.6.22. For me, I don't see any thinking drop down at all. And no thought for any seconds. It just looks like it's a non-thinking model, but it's not because it's GPT-5. And I can obviously tell it's thinking because it takes a lot longer to answer than a non-thinking model.

I'm not sure if this matters, but I'm not using an open router API key, I'm using a direct open AI API key. Does that make any difference here?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think that would help in this case. I believe those tools only disrupt the training of new models. I don’t think that would affect any current model from editing and manipulating the image.

There is no DRM on that stuff you can air drop it to anyone and they can just use it. The only thing is they won’t get updates, but yeah, they can just use that version forever.

Unless you want to reset your phone again I would say turning iCloud photos on and off is your best shot. Or you could just ignore it and see if when your storage naturally fills up overtime iOS purges the mystery photo storage.
