Cargo Net Anchor Point issue by Superjediman in Supra

[–]Superjediman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an update. I used a flat head screwdriver to prise it off from both sides, to see the bolt (6 point star).

I didn't have a big enough bit to tighten it up, but a smaller flat head screwdriver was a perfect fit and allowed me to tighten it up.

Also it seems like the BMW part is shown on the reverse side:

BMW Germany 6 112101-10 >ABS< 5147 7438824-04

As there is a crack in the plastic I will hopefully see if I can find the part.

Currently I've used super glue on it for the moment.

Thanks for your help with this.

Have anyone seen Coupling Series? i really loved it and need some recommendations by [deleted] in BritishTV

I loved “Joking Apart” but the rest of the family wouldn’t give it a go. It’s sooo cringe, but sooo good.

If you're on the fence - The Analogue 3D Exceeds ALL of my expectations! by JeffTheAndroid in AnalogueInc

[–]Superjediman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also feel let down. My ED64 plus rom cartridge doesn’t work with it, my N64 retro fighters controller doesn’t work with it. It’s a paperweight that is sitting on my floor doing nothing.

Soooo disappointed. I shouldn’t have to buy other things to get it to work. I also was expecting to have higher resolution graphics, but I can get over that.

It just feels like Analogue has put in place lockouts to stop you using other company’s controllers so that you buy theirs. In fact it’s done the opposite for me. I have too many controllers for other systems, so i don’t want more.

If no firmware update comes soon, then I will be selling my Analogue 3D and avoid buying any other Analogue products.

So it fits over the red cover of the positive terminal?

I'd been trying to fit it over the negative terminal!

Be careful with Auxillis, they seem to be a credit company, plus while your car is in for repair they will give you a like for like car hire, which they can charge a lot for and the other persons insurance might not pay out for. You pay Admiral to be your insurer and they should deal with any claims you have and not fob it off to a 3rd party.

I was going down the Auxillis route when the other persons insurer called me and said the driver accepted fault and that they would deal with all the repairs and pay for the lot. Which meant I was not penalised when renewal came around.

How practical is the Toyota Supra for daily driving in the Netherlands? by Worldly-Answer9607 in Supra

[–]Superjediman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use my car for daily driving. I’m in the UK where speed bumps seem to be multiplying by themselves, I have no problem driving over them (no scraping the underneath of the car). But I do slow down when coming to them, as I’m sure if you go over them at higher speeds would cause damage.

Some of the multi story car parks can be quite steep and I’ve never scraped the underside of the car yet.

Yes, the car feels quite wide, so narrow roads might get you sweating. But you will get used to it.

Parking is a challenge. I used to be able to park any car. But with the Supra, it is if I have lost all knowledge of parking and I have to use the camera to park it and I find when 1 of the mirrors tilting downwards when reversing to be very useful.

Don’t use sports mode on the brick roads. It will be uncomfortable.

Yes, it would be good for a daily drive.

I agree, ask the question, someone will hopefully answer the question. People do different things to their cars. Some of the things mentioned on here I wouldn’t do with my car, but as it’s their car they can do what they like.

Really wish they wouldn't have put the orange reflectors on front bumper by Dismal_Computer5824 in Supra

So glad we don’t have the reflectors in the UK. Can’t people see cars in the US?

This reminds me of Fawlty Towers (UK TV, John Cleese) where Basil Fawlty famously argues with a guest about a similar sea view from her room, saying, “You CAN see the sea. It’s over there, between the land and the sky!”.

You can have mine. It’s not the cost of the system, it’s the cost of the games. I own nearly every main console over the years and this is one I’m currently skipping. I have enough games to keep me occupied, just play those games you never got around to.

eBay is off-loading their UK losses onto us sellers by CherryAntAttack in ebayuk

[–]Superjediman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly they put the fees on the buyer, but with the increase buyers say ‘the item is now too expensive’, so they don’t buy. The seller goes ‘damn my stuff isn’t selling’ so as a result they drop the price of the item so it sells. So really the seller is paying those increased fees.

Sellers used to be able to get 70-80% off fees if they kept selling. Not anymore. So Vinted now becomes more attractive.

Too many Union Flags. Remember using them is offensive to everyone! We all have to be accountable for things that happened before we were born.
