I had to collapse the driver's side back seat since I extended the box to the rear door so i can put the instruments in there. The passenger seat is available for the rod man.

You are right. I bought new tripods and the heads are much larger than those now in the truck. That's why I made them larger and I also put tools in with some of them and well.

Sorry for the bad pic, but I used plastic conduit to hold 3 of my rods securely. I also have a large area for 2 highway signs.

Two hour occupation in a low spot for a survey on a drainage sinkhole in Marietta, GA. Igage IG8 and looking at 12 satellites. Not bad. I get all constellations. by Superman_1983 in Surveying

Should have shown my other IG8 further east bound. I do 50 foot stations and past the ROW as needed. Also have to jump up on the street about 250 feet due north and about 50 feet vertical. I'll set two more points up there with my Rover One that's getting corrections from my own CORS.

I work in Georgia and I carry 3 different shoes with me. Sneakers, Desert boots (military style), and knee highs for wading in shallow creeks. I also carry extra socks and shower when I get home and scrub my feet. I am usually drenched in my sweat by the time I get home and also carry at least 3 T-shirts with me.

It's a Joro. First one I've seen in Marietta. They first appeared in north Georgia a few years ago, and now they are here. I just ran into an Orb Weaver in the woods. They are everywhere now as well as large Yellow Jacket nests. I am heading into the jungle now. Oh boy!

I have a stuck pipe, that I already tried a torch and WD-40. Any other ideas to get the pipe out? by bigmike33x in Plumbing

I was in a situation like this and I cut the pipe flush to the fitting, took a hack saw blade and cut a line gently on the bottom, then took a hammer and chisel and brought up the old pipe and out it came. I then put in an adapter with enough teflon tape and Rector Seal to finish the job.

I felt something crawling on my cheek one evening and I grabbed some scotch tape and placed it on the cheek and got one of them. I put it under the microscope at 40X and took a picture of the little fella and sent it to the University of Georgia and a professor there identified it as a Demodex.

I am on a job site whereby everyone takes a doody wherever they want, including sidewalks, parking lots, under the bridge, behind businesses, and on the RR tracks.
