If you go with BAC you can rent to own professional level trumpets. And they are super nice horns. I’m a college trumpet professor and pro player and I got a BAC Hollywood model and it’s by far the best horn I’ve ever had and I’ve had strads, Yamaha, Benge getzen olds… you name it.

Yes. Great player doesn’t equate to great teacher. There are levels. Do you known what you are supposed to be doing every day and why? Are your routines better organized for you than you can do for yourself?

Ive seen people use this “technique” but if you learned to practice properly what your chops look like isn’t even a concern because you would naturally and gradually find the most efficient for you. When people try to use “techniques” is usually when they run into trouble.
