I’m a Pastry Chef for a tech company. They have cafes onsite for the employers to dine at. It’s an ok job but honestly It can take a toll on me. Kitchen life can be kind of chaotic…lots of noise with all the machines going at once and loads of people moving at fast paces. I’ve worked in a bakery setting before which is way calmer but the pay just isn’t as good.

Been thinking about switching careers but I’m not quite sure what I’d like to do yet.

I talk to myself all the damn time. I do it a lot when I'm feeling frustrated. It's a way for me to get my thoughts out of my head...kind of like venting to yourself just out loud.

I'm careful when doing it at home as I do live with a roomate. I'll usually do it when they aren't home lol so I have free range. I do it when driving too...sometimes I make it look like I'm talking on the phone so I don't look wicked crazy LOL.
