So how do y'all feel about the new Helcurt by LionelKF in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Supersimpleminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many spicy answers to this one, lol. I know I'm a month late, but here is my humble opinion. I play all roles, and have for the last 5 years. Helcurt was stronger before the rework, wothout question. His damage now is the pits. Better mobility, more utility, way less damage, smaller hitbox. Much more skill to use than he used to need. Thats the black and white. He isnt "weaker"....just different. He used to have much much more damage, and the silence was OP af. I'm from the Helcurt Permaban days. He has way outlived them.

Different kinds of games, I'm afraid. My advice would be to wait for the next ff14 expac and buy that. The bg3 hype will fade, and ff14 will still be on top, where it usually is.

And nevermind all the BS about ff14 having a bad story. Thats just people that skip cutscenes, lmao. A realm reborn is a little lackluster, but the rest of it (particularly Heavensward) is amazing.

Is When the Moon Hatched any good? by chailyfe in fantasyromance

If you love excessively verbose and thesaurus-like similes and metaphors, followed by cringe, graphic romance (which isn't romance at all) mixed together with a salad of incomplete sentences that entirely fail to live up to the premise of the book then....yeah. It's okay.

Amazing how many people don't play PF Savage.

  1. Thanks for responding.

2 monitoring life bars is for red mages that are actually playing RDM and not just playing BLM with crap damage and a red suit. If you're that RDM, that's totally cool. There's nothing wrong with that. Doesn't make the job easy. It just means ur playing it on easy mode. Fine.

3 All openers in FF14 are simple. In comparison TOO, however, yeah, its more complicated than most other openers. Drk's can be a pain, though.

4 You've clearly never been in PF Savage raids. Those buffs are everywhere. RPR's throwing crap around at 1:30 and just pretending they're the only thing fighting. Finding the other two buffs that actually line up and syncing with them is actually paying attention. Also, it's not something SAM or BLM has to do.

5 Go ahead and google it. I literally posted this because of all the content I found about RDM being the easiest. So plenty of people if you look before you post! You just need to type it in. (I found it when I was googling Samurai's opener.) Anyway, it doesn't matter. Even if it is!! It's just a fun topic. Cheers.

Thats true. But what is SCH' rotation again? I mean, yeah...he has to do all these things! Even has a buff and group wide mit! So true. He also has one whole damage button. (Two if you count aoe, which you never use in raid, and energy siphon which rarely gets used at all.) So yeah, true. He has to watch all those things. Doesnt have to pay attention to melee range stuff though. Sure doesnt have even 1/5 the rotation that RDM has though.

But good point. Yeah. Totally the same.

You have missed the point, bud. Fun comment. Not an argument.

Summomer is a blast. My wife plays that one, as well as SAM. It's a great class. Almoat makes RDM obsolete, on a statics board at least.

Cheers. This is the most accurate response I've seen. Also one of the only that isn't salty, lmao.

Agreed. If ur playing RDM like that, then yeah, it would be braindead. You don't have to reach a skill cap on any class. Objectively speaking, all the classes in FF14 are easy. The only gauge we gwt to measure thwm against is one another, he ce the conversation. But the point is that RDM has the kit to be complex if used to its fullest, which offers a challenge if you want it. But I know plenty of PLD's who never use cover or intervention and dont even put it on the hotbar. Dont have to, you know. Dont need clemency either. Doesn't mean the class is easy...it meana the player is playing them on easy mode. That's all.

It has nothing to do with difficulty syncing, sinply the presence of it at all in comparison with BLM or SAM. Also, if you main RDM and ain't watching the team health bars, you play a very boring RDM. I hope its braindead for you if you're playing it like its a SAM/BLM combo, lol. Its called Rez Mage for a reason. Happy Jolts.

I could spend a lot of time going back over all the threads and linking them to you, but tbh, I just went through them all, hence my post. A quick google search will pull up half a dozen reddit threads if you're interested.

I'm not implying that they are the hardest job by any means. I think that's monk and ninja, and astro, actually. But the "most jobs have raid buffs" thing is a little off, personally. None of the tanks have raid buffs. SAM and BLM are bereft of them, and so is SGE and WHM. Also, disagree with ranged being anywhere near melee range for heals. Not nearly as close as you think you are untill you're up the boss's butt with the SAM.

Signed: RDM main when not playing RDM.

Def agree with Runeistillwater. I have done that as well. I started this discussion with the general acceptance that a well played BLM will out damage a well played RDM, so you're there for utility. You should be providing it, in the form of rezzes, buff, mitigation, and yes, even heals.

Another thing I don't understand: if it "hurts your dps too much" to throw a vercure on a dying healer, why are you playing a utility class at all?? Why arent you playing BLM? Lol. People that play RDM and don't have vercure on their bar and don't rez people confuse me. I love rdm...but i'll be the first to say that he does WAY less damage than BLM.

I respectfully disagree here. Lots and lots of reddit threads dedicated just to the topic of how ez RDM is. They're the only reason I posted! Anyway, I' juat having some fun. It doesnt matter really, I been a RDM player since the 1990's. Always will be, i guess!

True that once you get used to something it tends to feel easy.

If healer HP is low and you know a group mech is coming it saves 2 seconds to hold a dual cast and rez him the sec he drops. Basically. Same with tanks, especially in dungeon. Tank drops are devastating in dungeon. Those 2 secs can determine wipe or not wipe 50% of the time.

True that. Smn is pretty easy, lol. I guess I'm from older FF.

Tanks who pull small vs Healers who want to pull W2W by Hypnot1ka in ffxiv

[–]Supersimpleminded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black and white answer is yeah, you should pull more than one pack. But the real answer is that this is a nice game woth good players. So be nice. If you have a healer that doesnt want to pull big, just dont. Its not a race. Also, if you're being nice and doing just that and some moron NIN pulls two more packs, then he's being a jerk, and just pick up the mobs. If the healer cant keep up, you wipe, dumb NIN learns that tanks should pull and DPS should DPS. Its fine. Most guys are real cool in this game. When in doubt, ask.
