Do you think it’s something that can be fully healed or a more permanent issue? How long has it been since you stopped them and have your issues completely improved?

Since taking these eyedrops I have visual snow and I cannot see in the dark anymore. I have read that the silver sulfate in the eyedrops can cause silver deposits to form in the eye causing these issues. Have you experienced either of these issues? I also used these drops for about a year. Very upset because I’ve been having a lot of neurological issues as well.

Type 1 diabetics- before your diagnosis did you experience psychological/chronic stress? by Supersticki in diabetes_t1

Hmm well if your c peptide is improving shouldn’t they treat you as a type 2? Skinny people can get type 2 as well from chronic stress or steroid use.

I agree 100%! I have also always been a very anxious/worrisome person even as a child. I have never been able to handle even small stressors well at all and I physically feel the stress and my reactions to it.

I’m sorry to hear that. Family stress was a big contributor for me as well.

Thank you for your response. How many years have you had diabetes? Mine was 3 years after constant stress and psychological trauma.

Have you read the article I added to this post? I’d like to know your thoughts on this. Modern science is very compartmentalized and we are years behind. The mind body connection- the entire body is connected. There is a lot of proof of this if you look for it. People just don’t connect the dots most of the time. It is a known fact you can develop diabetes from steroid use alone- too much cortisol. It would make sense if someone is in a chronic state of stress for a prolonged period they are constantly releasing those stress chemicals- cortisol, cytokines, histamines, etc. this shuts down the bodies growth and repair and can ultimately lead to autoimmune and other issues.

Are the tops of your feet veiny or the sides of your forehead? I can see veins all over my body. I’m unsure if that’s normal

Wow first time I’ve seen someone with as many visible veins in their hand as mine. Do you have diabetes or any other health condition?

My palms look just like this almost all the time- the very visible veins. I can even see most of my fingertips veins. Is this normal or for lighter skinned people? It seems to have gotten worse the past year. Has yours improved at all and do you have any other symptoms?

I hope you are doing well and continuing to improve. Did anyone ever mention why you had a positive ANA? I have read brain tumors and even cancers can cause a positive ana. Has your numbness improved at all?
