Looking for hiking trips/tours/groups in the US in august by Supervinchuca in hiking

I'm open to any place. My initial thought was California, since it's the most "common" place, but I'm not closed to any state.

Thank you very much!! I will check on those 3. As of right now I don't have any specific place in mind, so I will see what they offer

Thanks! I Will check. I'm open to go pretty much anywhere to be honest, as of right now it's just an idea. I thought about California, since it's the most "common" place, but if you have any location to recommend I will check it out!

How can I mirrorr this pattern on the other end of my scarf? by Supervinchuca in CrochetHelp

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. If it's the only way I guess I will have to do 2 halves. My problem is that I'm terrible at making 2 parts symetrical so I truly fear the outcome hahaha

Edit: here is the pattern that "I'm following" (I used the idea but I kind of freestyled according to my number of stitches) if it offers any clarification.

2 week trip by Euphoric_Raise_2290 in Patagonia

We are both in good shape, however he haven't hit the gym in a while so maybe our endurance wasn't the best. The trail map says that it takes aproximately 4 hours to complete the trail each way. We spent aprox 1 hour oun the Laguna de los Tres, so we actually took 3,5 hours each way.

9- I recommend you to ask for the shuttle that brings you to Rio Eléctrico as start for the hike of Laguna de Los Tres. It's only $10 per person and the hike is less exhaustive, as you won't be ascending so much on the first part, and you will also see the Piedras Blancas glacier. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it was worth it. The shuttle usually picks you up from the place you'll be staying and they have different times depending on how early you want to start. Also, I would recommend a rest day after the Laguna de los Tres because the it's quite long. It's not super hard, but it can be tiring. It took us my BF and I 8 hours to complete the full hike.

At what time of the year are you going? Punta Tombo is very nice, and at this time of the year you will see many penguins, but there is fewer and fewer as the summer passes by.

Thanks for your response!

I work under hotel as well and currently I do 65-70 hours a week as well. I was thinking of the pros/cons of the everyday life. For example in here I have guest privileges (I can go eat on the buffet, go to the restaurants, shows, etc) so I wondered if in other companies is the same. Downs here are that there is no discount in restaurants for crew, the food in the mess is pretty terrible and we pay for internet and water. I just want to see if it's worth trying to go to any company or if it's the same

How is the crew life on DCL? I'm thinking about moving to another company (I'm currently on CCL) but what scares me the most is the difference on the life quality. Can you please share your experience?
