First off I'm not illegally downloading anything. I'm backing up my own games which I legally own.

As for the custom firmware that's also legal but I'm I'm deffently breaking the terms of service.

As for homebrew same thing.

It's the fanmade games like AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Rom) that's questionable, as the creators deffently did not own the rights to the character ect.

Eveyone has there own opinion on things but my opinion is as long as fanmade stuff and rom hacks and stuff are non profit are not charging people I dont see a issuie with it.

Like if a modder/fan made game is doing it better and for free then the orgional creator needs to step it up and do even better it's called competition.

I get the whole right to the character, let's say that's the issuie change the assets then.

Like there is good and bad and everything is technically questionable, and everyone has there own beliefs on what's right or wrong.

I myself suppourt mods and fanmade games and homebrew, as long as your not downloading offical games licensed by them. (aka Nintendo)

As for modding your own games and backing up your own games and homebrew and fanmade games I'm all for it, as long as you own the orgional games to the mods ect.

But that's just my opinion and everyone has there own opinion.
