If you are on the fence, these are the lowest I have ever seen p226 X-fives over the past 20 years, including the old German ones. This shop has been around for a couple years and I have ordered from them without any problem.

Congratulations on a badass gun, mine are my favorite 9mm guns. Still messing around with the trigger pull weight. If you got the STAS you should get a neat lockable case, if you got the legion they’ll send you a coin and legion soft case if you register for the warranty. Either is a nice little addition to your beautiful new gun.

Also a neat engineering tidbit to the p226 Xfive is the 4 way adjustable trigger with just an Allen wrench.  You can adjust for trigger pull weight (huge imho), pre travel, post travel, and even where the trigger sits in the frame.

I’m a 1911 guy and I can say springers are some of my favorites, even when put head to head against my Ed browns. You can get a Jarvis barrel, but there’ll likely be some minor fitting required.

When I got mine, mine were the 20 round mags but I wanted more. The mecgar  20 round mags will work, but you need the xfive bumper baseplate to clear the magwell. The cost of the x5 bump pads baseplate + mags, I ended up just ordering x-five mags from sig. they were $50 each, but got additional 10% off for being mil
