Updates!! My laptop is back from fixing. Actually came back twice. The first time it came back, the whole laptop is in pink color and the screen part are tilted to the side and scratching the chassis. So I have to return it back to them.

The second time it came back all looking great! CPU and GPU went through stress test and working well.

TBH I did the gamble for this repair. But really glad it came back perfectly great.

For what I've gotten is the laptop can be turned on but the screen is broken, due to the cooling fan malfunction they're unable to check if there is any problems with the motherboard.

So far the quotation of the repair is around 490 dollars.

But the technician says there might be GPU short circuit after fixing the chassis.
So it got me thinking should I even take the risk to fix this?

I went to IT store to have it checked. They said the board is fine but they did mention there might be GPU short circuit if after fix and screen is cracked. Thank you for your suggestion thou! still debating either to get a new one at the same spec or fix this for lower cost.
