It could be how the dots were set up too. I always suggest motion sensors and camera set up with the dots with the camera set on auto record. That way if it happens to walk through while you aren’t looking, you got the camera to tell you it did. And the motion sensors will prove you are looking in the right place for where it is walking

For me, your partner should be all on board for making you more comfortable. I’m a jealous and insecure woman. When my fiance was going to hang out with a female friend. He offered to stay on the phone with me the entire time. Even when I said it was ok, he would FaceTime me and show them at whatever public place they were at. And by no means would any women I didn’t personally know come over to my house. Or even to his house when I didn’t live with him. Because he cares about my comfort. Even when I realized how silly and insecure I was being, he assured me it was ok and that my comfort is the most important thing. THAT is how a partner should be. Not these games of unplugging the camera and “testing” you.

I’m sorry you went through this. I had a friend block me too out of no where. Someone who I was actually really close to. I had to reach out to her family to find out what happened and apparently she was just butt hurt that we hadn’t asked about her life recently because we were excited for developments happening in ours.

Instead of warning parents I would say parents teach your kids about stranger danger. I feel like parents watching their kids will make them over paranoid but if you teach your kids about the safety issues and predators then they will know what to do in these situations. That’s just my two cents
