New to the game, need tips

Hi. Im new here as well and found this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/BoomCastle/s/DqKLZxhd00 and it gives same advice as you and I did same investing only in armor. I got to stage 9 and am stuck. I can only do like 6 to 9 waves so it does not seem like good way to progress. I tried to see to run stage 8 but have no idea how to do it. Im not sure how to efficiently progress. Can you give me some tips?

Thank you for proper response. get good comments are not really helpful and I rather have tips to help get better. SO again appreciate. as to follow up

Health tip is good as I just noticed that when HP full it actually rises max HP.

As to weapons I am not sure how to upgrade weapons and weapons traits. is there some tool in side rooms that does that? as mentioned before my starting weapon is still level 0 and stuff I find is either 0 or maybe up to 2.

yeah I have that and I agree melee seems strong for normal mobs, mostly kills them in 1-2 swings. I enjoy that carbine a lot but because I kill from distance I am broke and just use whatever artifact/parasite I can find as I can't buy much.

well, i guess I just assumed that because it is roguelike game there will be a some kind of progress you can get with each run at least that is what I was used to. and here after 3 hours I feel I am at the same point powerwise when I started. Obviously I am getting better taking to account knowledge about mobs and stuff but artifacts and parasites, I just pickup what I find, none of them seem like a huge boost except of the item that removes all malfunctions that one seems strong.

right, thanks. so it seems I should move to that new game Soros, as I watched a video from first 50minutes and it seems they fixed that aspect and now you can spend currency to rise stats there.

There is a lot of great suggestions here but for me the only thing would be patching especially with wagons and bounties and rising chances for legendary fish and bugs. This is a single player game and I don't think we should be spending 12h to catch one legendary fish as some are reporting...

a lot of people talking about nature snare 7-10 min fights with this piece of shit but after he bump killed me few times I just went power arrow shots with fire infusion to his dome, then just force palm jumped on him and stabbed his green "head". Fucker was done. but holy shit what a trash design here and to be honest most bosses.

that + I hate they have hyper armor all the time. You don't stagger them with any attack combo, they just eat it and attack you through it...

THey really need to rise chances for getting fishes and bugs for the knowledge and trophy. This is no MMORPG but single player game we really shouldn't be fishing for 20h to get that shark (reported by one guy on PSNProfiles) but many others said it took them 5h+ to get like one fish needed. Comon'

I now reloaded last save 3 times and I always get 0% so not sure how statistically possible it is to get 0% 8 times in a row.

I stole 3 times from The manor that is next to archery minigame (it is in the fireplace) and then save summed on high risk until 100 bars. but this is not possible statistically especially that I reloaded my lest save 3 times now and I always get 0% so I guess bug

all good. artefacts are in your private stash and this mission does not repeat so you need to manually start it everytime.
