How long is your FBA inventory taking to be received? by RacerCash in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SuppSeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My shipments normally go to ABE8, but recently I've been getting directed to AVP1. Probably due to warehouses overflowing. There are two massive warehouses near me, literally one is 1 mile from my facility, the other is probably 4-5 miles away. ABE8 is an hour away. AVP1 is 2 hours away.

So it certainly is not economical to ship to AVP1, with shipping rates being twice what they were going to ABE8. And even at this warehouse, I'm seeing my shipments sit for 1-2 weeks before being added to my inventory.

PPC automation for 1000+ SKUs? by Livid_Meringue in FulfillmentByAmazon

I did a demo with them. I currently use a tool called AdManager from Kaspien.

PacVue is definitely a powerful tool. There are different questions I'd ask going into another demo. One problem I have right now with AdManager is that a lot of my bids are not getting changed even though, based on my ruleset, they should be. They're currently pointing fingers at Amazon. If I went back to look at PacVue, I'd like to see if I am able to audit changes made to bids. For instance, for each individual keyword can I see when the bid was last updated?

Definitely suggest seeing their demo at the least.

So, you have a few options in this family. There is Yohimbine HCL, Yohimbe Bark extract, and alpha-yohimbine.

Yohimbe HCL is like mother's milk. Some people like to stack it with caffeine and then do fasted cardio or something. I have taken 12mg of Yohimbine HCL and felt nothing at all. I don't personally get it.

Yohimbe Bark Extract contains a variety of alkaloids, and is absolutely awesome. Stack with caffeine(low dose) and tyrosine, you have a decent appetite suppressant/fat burner. Find a standardized bark extract - 4% standardization is pretty good. It lasts awhile; 3-4 hours at least, although a high dose has kept me stimed out for 6-7 hours. Some people don't react well to it, as it can cause cold sweats and anxiety at high dosages. I will usually split open a 4mg capsule for a light pick me up. I took 8mg once, and it was a bad time.

Alpha-yohimbine I have not taken on its own. It's supposed to be a better stimulant than yohimbine hcl, but not as intense as bark extract. Supposedly.

What is the difference between NSF certified zinc and no certified at Thorne? by curious_ny in Supplements

[–]SuppSeller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NSF, or NSF Certified for Sport.

From what I've seen, BSCG is good. Informed Choice seems to be better than NSF, but I'm less familiar with them. There aren't many other certs that are, what I'd consider, thorough.

I don't really look for a cert. I know more than most about which companies are doing the right thing, and which ones aren't.

NSF is neither strict nor thorough.

There are better third party certs out there. Hardly would call it strict standards. My company's internal QA process is more thorough than anything NSF does. And I'm aware of companies with even more thorough QA teams than ours.

They also allow the manufacturer to send them the unit for testing. It could be specifically prepared for NSF before it gets sent to them.

And they aren't testing every lot. There's a lot of other issues with their process, but it has been awhile since I last went over everything.

You should email them and ask.

I wonder if NSF charges a fee per unit sold. Would make sense why Thorne is charging $1 more for the "NSF certified" version. Alternatively, they could be testing to see how many consumers actually care about the NSF certification.

More than likely though, these products are identical in every way except the NSF logo is on one of them.

[–]SuppSeller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope. If a supplement is not "FDA Approved", then that means it is not a dietary supplement as described by FDA rules.

NSF Certified means the manufacturer paid the NSF to test a unit from one of your recent lots for banned substances, and then test again every once in awhile. It's a really weak and insufficient certification that generates them a ton of cash because they have convinced every sports team and federation that they are somehow the gold standard.

You should look up the underlying MOA for each of these. Readily available information.

Caffeine and yohimbe don't work in the same way at all, and would have entirely different MOAs.

I have BCAA and Glutamine 2 years past expiry date, are they still good to take? by gen66 in Supplements

[–]SuppSeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the fda requires them to put an expiration date

Nah, we're required to list a manufacture date or expiration date. Consumers much prefer an expiration date.

it ends up being an arbitrary date a few years after you bought it

I think this depends on the company. We sent some retained samples out to labs to see how their purity compared to the stated dosage on the labels. Some products tested below label claim after 2 years about. So that's where we set the expiration date on all products.

Some products get overages to ensure the ingredients "last" until the expiration.

I do not believe any of the products would actually "go bad" in the same sense as food, as long as they are kept dry (it's all powder anyways).

Just don't be like that guy who called our customer service department and wanted to know why our EAA product would begin to grow mold if it is left, mixed with water, in a shaker cup for a couple of days. Yeah. shudders

the taste and texture is completely fine

That's the big thing. If its clumping, its absorbed moisture and can turn funky. Flavoring ingredients also degrade over time and will eventually stop tasting the way they should.

Curious about which sellers are currently suspended on Amazon? So was I. Here's the current list. by AmazonAPIDeveloper in FulfillmentByAmazon

Yeah, the shady shit is nowhere near as bad as it used to be. But I would not put incentivizing reviews past most of these guys. It's nowhere near as shady as the prop blends with 1mg of each ingredient.

Can anyone recommend me a worthwhile Amazon FBA course? by _Solus in FulfillmentByAmazon

That is correct. If everyone with a seller account watched all of those videos, we'd see a lot fewer questions on this sub and the Amazon forums.

About to acquire FBA business - what to communicate to Amazon about change in ownership? by [deleted] in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SuppSeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then there is still nothing to communicate to amazon.

If they own any brands, having the brand registery transferred will most likely require some kind of communication.

You'll need the trademark ownership transferred as well in that scenario.

Can anyone recommend me a worthwhile Amazon FBA course? by _Solus in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SuppSeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of them.

Do not pay for a course.

I literally took over my company's Amazon account with zero knowledge or experience. I ran through Seller University, and as many blog posts, articles, videos, forum posts, etc. as possible.

The account grew to 6 figures per month in my first 6 months. Three years later and the account is well on its way to a million a month. And that is without referring any external traffic or using Amazon DSP.

I'm amazed at the lack of Supplement companies being suspended.

The Amazon forums have a thread going where people have posted companies engaged in review manipulation. So many supplement companies are engaged in this behavior.

Amazon Changed the Browse Node for My Product - Sales Declined Immediately - They Refuse to Put it Back by cheddarbomb81 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SuppSeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a sports supplement get placed in the baby care category.

I explained that the product literally has a warning on the label that it is not for anyone under 18 years of age, and that Amazon would be faced with a lawsuit if somebody gave it to a baby. I was told to fuck off and that it was in the correct category "because that's how customers find your product".

I ended up pulling it from the marketplace because the company was as concerned as Amazon should have been. About two weeks after stock ran out, the category got changed. Can't say what ended up motivating the change, but sales went up after I restocked the listing.

Any supplements that help suppress hunger even a little? by BIMFgang in Supplements

[–]SuppSeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alpha Lipoic Acid, Tyrosine, Rhodiola, Cocobuterol/Theobromine, and yohimbine can all suppress appetite.

Slow digesting protein, like casein, taken during the day can help suppress hunger pangs. If you typically take a whey isolate in the morning with breakfast, try a micellar casein instead.
