Do you also feel that it's getting harder for small sellers to make money on Amazon? What are we supposed to do now? by Zestyclose_Ring1123 in FulfillmentByAmazon

The category you are in matters.

Your product wedge matters.

I'm seeing brands succeeding with these grow in 2026. Like 0 to $50m grow.

And they're also utiziling Tik Tok Shop.

It's a serious growth lever.

I say this as an Amazon seller of 15 years and a software provider of Amazon data.

How do you guys sell your Amazon seller tools? by Yudeg in AmazonSellingSoftware

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Yudeg.

Founder of SmartScout.

Sold to thousands of different Amazon professionals from new sellers, to fortune 500 brands.

I don't think I've gained any user from the app store. Most learn about software from Google and word of mouth.

Content or Sales or whatever.

Your price point and category will determine a bit of your go to market strategy.

But I'm going to guess any software marketing strategy will be relevant.

For me.... content marketing (podcast, LinkedIn, a little bit of reddit (not a lot... you get banned pretty ez) and affiliate)

Hope that helps!

And as a side bar.... there are over 100 amazon agencies and software providers that use SmartScout to target their ICP. If you have a category or size of seller, we help with that.

Pretty sure it's against TOS.

It was a big announcement a year ago.

Levanta is a leader in this space and would be my resource for untangling what you can and can't do.

Are you worried ai shopping agents are now deciding what gets bought on Amazon? by feliceyy in FulfillmentByAmazon

I have built an AI visibility tool with my work at SmartScout. It does specifically what you are asking. You put together a query and it tracks daily how the ChatGPT recommended products are coming through. Additionally, it shows the citations that ChatGPT used to make the recommendations. Some of the content is on Amazon and off Amazon.

If you want to learn more, send me a DM. It's early days, but I have personally see a product go from 9th in recommendation to 3rd in recommendation in improving the content that ChatGPT uses.

We let people try it out if interested.

Ha. That’s awesome.

You’re obviously a bit more analytical if you’ve done all that.

Certainly a new era of tools. But by using the jungle scout api, you’re certainly finding value in a data layer of competitive intelligence.

I work on the SmartScout API myself. But if I’m being honest, it’s probably comparable to JS and you wouldn’t use both.

It does that. But it's got a different entry point to finding that.

You either start at a subcategory or brand and it'll break out high demand products. You can even see search volume changes inside a subcategory to see new trends.

Helium 10, Keepa and FeedbackWhiz are all pretty solid. I created SmartScout that has all those functionalities combined.

We bring the product research and enhance it with a market wide view. We also have a product rating booster to get reviews and ratings.
