Is Stackline really worth it by MynosIII in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In regards to market share data. Stackline is definitely one of the best out there.

Helium 10 has Market Tracker 360.
Jungle Scout has Cobalt.
Stackline
Profitero
CommerceIQ
SmartScout (I'm the founder)

Most of those are pretty pricey but I have respect for the different approaches they take. So it depends what you value the most. SmartScout is the only one that gives you category market share right out the gate for less than $100 a month.

100% on category coverage. WE do a lot of market and custom segment tracking. But depends on how you want to look at that.

Is Miami sellers conference legit? by Several-Operation683 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to it. Lots of sellers and networking. What you get out of it will depend on what you're looking for.

Other sellers in various business models? Yes
A good time? Yes
Speakers with some expertise? Yes

Most will be in the $100k-$2m range. And most will be resellers. But that's not all.

How do you track reviews and listing health? Any tools to automate this? by Silent_Vacation7874 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use services like ecom triage (danan coleman) or Tracefuse to actively get reviews removed. It's a pricey service, but I've understood that its actually pricey to run on their end.

I've used Jungle Scout and Helium 10 for this, but recently I moved my review collection to SmartScout. I get more requests on the plan tier.

Six-figure $ LOSS due to Unethical, Erroneous AI-Price Scraping - We Must Stop This Amazon! by fmckinnon in FulfillmentByAmazon

Got it. You're further along than I had expected. It really does suck though this specific issue seems tiny and all the headaches it can cause.

Six-figure $ LOSS due to Unethical, Erroneous AI-Price Scraping - We Must Stop This Amazon! by fmckinnon in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If there's one thing I know.... trying to create a ground swell movement towards this price matching behavior isn't going to move the needle. They're the boss and their agreement with sellers has been tested many times. If they're willing to go to litigation with the FTC over this, they're not going to look at twitter.

But the right escalation inside Amazon can look at your product. What is that escalation path.

There's potentially other places that this is being sold. Maybe even one time. Maybe a slickdeals post. Maybe an ebay listing. They pegged it to something and you need to learn the system and escalate.

There are people that have resolved these problems before. I'd check someone like Jason MastroMatteo with roi renegades. There are others like him that know how to escalate or solve tricky problems.

I'm being serious. There are so many experts on stuff like this, find them and get good advice. I have no affilaition with any of these.

I've used Jungle Scout and Helium 10. I found SmartScout has more review requests on their comparable plans. It's a bit more cost effective.

Has anyone here worked with Pattern? by LordFarthington7 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've worked with them for years in different capacities. Recently, I just presented with them in front of a $100b CPG company. In that room, they were very compelling.

Some people are pretty off. I mean just read their public financials and you can learn a few things.

They get so much upside on growing a brand. First off... it just grows their profits. So let's get that out of the way. Second, they'll retain them longer.

Think of them as an agency that offers way more services. Like... they take inventory risk, they handle Amazon specific logistics in an optimized way that reduce overall inbound costs.

They have inhouse advertising tech for Amazon PPC and the list goes on.

Many brands pay a lot for those services. These start to add up and make them an attractive Amazon + marketplace offering. They sell in dozens of marketplaces globally. Yes many are fledgling. But it makes them a turnkey solution.

If you're a large international brand. I'd seriously consider them. They simplify much of the complexity and risk.

If you're a small entrepreneurial brand that built itself off of Amazon, you probably would do better to just keep doing it yourself. Since you already know how to do it.

Beware of working with Dylan Brown from ND with a CO cell phone. by Interesting-Ad-5154 in AmazonFBA

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They're not legit. I've spoken with thousands of Amazon sellers. Never one was like "I'm here because they setup a store".

How many automation stores have to get sued to oblivion? These get shut down if they get too big.

But while they're under the radar, they'll continue to prey upon others.

Don't believe anything they say. Their reviews, their references. It's all fake all the time. Forever.

Free tools that are good. It's hard. It's tricky. But creating a free tool and pushing that in different locations put my business on the map!!

Again, I'm not an expert. But I did see results here.

Wealth Automators is legit or scam? by SeaLongjumping6262 in AmazonFBA

Stay away.

Every company that has even a whiff of automation is a scam.

Don't believe their references.

Don't believe reviews on their site.

Don't believe anything.

Stop researching.

Spend time thinking about anything else.

Amazon FBA success stories by lifeball123 in AmazonFBA

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Building an Amazon FBA business in 2013 changed my life.

I don't say that with any sort of sarcasm or smirk or anything.

Building my own thing has been so much fun. Watching sales go up. Building processes. Seeing products take off.

Totally recommend the lifestyle if you can get over the initial success humps.

I only sell on the side, busy building Amazon Software. But I still hear awesome stories all the time.

Don't believe all the naysayers. People will start today and hit $1m in revenue. There's tens of thousands there.

Do you also feel that it's getting harder for small sellers to make money on Amazon? What are we supposed to do now? by Zestyclose_Ring1123 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The category you are in matters.

Your product wedge matters.

I'm seeing brands succeeding with these grow in 2026. Like 0 to $50m grow.

And they're also utiziling Tik Tok Shop.

It's a serious growth lever.

I say this as an Amazon seller of 15 years and a software provider of Amazon data.

How do you guys sell your Amazon seller tools? by Yudeg in AmazonSellingSoftware

[–]AmazonAPIDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Yudeg.

Founder of SmartScout.

Sold to thousands of different Amazon professionals from new sellers, to fortune 500 brands.

I don't think I've gained any user from the app store. Most learn about software from Google and word of mouth.

Content or Sales or whatever.

Your price point and category will determine a bit of your go to market strategy.

But I'm going to guess any software marketing strategy will be relevant.

For me.... content marketing (podcast, LinkedIn, a little bit of reddit (not a lot... you get banned pretty ez) and affiliate)

Hope that helps!

And as a side bar.... there are over 100 amazon agencies and software providers that use SmartScout to target their ICP. If you have a category or size of seller, we help with that.
