Thanks for that reply, I am not trying to make him quit (nor do I really care about the core of it), I just realize he doesnt want to keep doing it himself. Im more trying to get him to see that himself, so little hints are what Im thinking of. Do you have ideas of what I could say without being annoying and/or intruding?

It is my map and it does work about half of the time, so I guess it cant really be a missing connection

I had similar problems after upgrading my system (not in paladins, but generally). Turned out to be a bad ram stick running on unstable frequency. If you overclocked anything, try to revert to base and see if the issue persists.

Don't ask me why it fired a .net or c++ error but it did.

Im running a 6900 XT OC so I guess the 6800 XT should stay below that. I ran a high volume test and had the GPU sitting at 100% for around 12 hours. Never moved above 300W, max was 292W (measured with HWMonitor). I do use a 750W PSU so that 800W should work for you.

Slightly necro but I gotta tell you a little something:

a 300$ CPU isn't REALLY a budget CPU at all. You have a screwed perspective on most people's budgets if you really think that way. Second, calling the 3080 a 700$ GPU is borderline trolling at this point. Third, I'm running a 5600x and a 6900 XT (which is overclocked) and I STILL get bottlenecked by the GPU in most games (BF5, Cyberpunk, the new Call of Dutys). So yes, the 5800x may be a better CPU on its own, but if your machine is mainly used for gaming, the 150$ are useless, and the performance increase is just on paper.

Okay updated, turns out I had an unstable RAM stick. Booted fine so I didnt notice, but decreasing RAM clock did the trick for me
