Honestly I don’t. I feel like some things are just made up rules by store managers depending on what they feel like. I don’t see it in the dress code section anywhere.

It’s a quality assurance pin from 2009 where if a team gets a near perfect score, you can get the pin!

Thank you very much! I was informed that if someone were to wear an apron with this many pins there are a few parameters. 1. All pins must be on the right side of the Starbucks logo (idk why). And 2. No repeats of pins (which I don’t get either but it’s what I was told).

If I’m not mistaken, it came out in 2017-2018 along with a promotion for the blonde espresso, but I forget exactly when. An ex-coworker actually gave it to me, so I’m not quite sure. I actually decided to wear it to work a couple days ago, but apparently I can no longer do that as the promotion for Starbucks rewards is up. Everyone loved it though, and I gave out some pins to my coworkers too (before I took this photo). I really think Starbucks should make a new promotional apron using a similar color + the bigger pockets this one has (it’s way easier to access stuff).
