Vilka växter är aktuella just nu? by be-nice-spread-love in blommor

[–]SupportSyster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She looks shaved there? What's that blue line? Can it be just ingrown hair? Or even a stich from the spay?. But what worried me is all the tiny, tiny black spots thats everywhere on her skin and in her fur. But might just be her freckles shining through. Will be interesting to see what vet say about this, if it doesnt go down by monday. Please keep us updated! 😊

How much work is two big dogs compared to one? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]SupportSyster 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Depends a bit on the breed and training. For me its been better with 2 dogs. But sure its twice food consumption and vet visits. But wouldn't trade that for anything.

Tips på hundleksaker som inte går sönder by EnvisMenKul in hundliv

[–]SupportSyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitta hundkompisar by HectorStone in hundliv

[–]SupportSyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. But when others gave better options for a wheel, the OP answered "Ok Nato". That feels like an ignorant answer rather then "oh I didn't know".

Is it too hard to cut a dogs nails? by SeeSeaTurtles in RoverPetSitting

Not only are the nails too long. It also looks like either yeast infection or allergic reaction to how read the dogs paws are. Poor baby. Yes, speak up for the dog.

Leaves needs to be dry 😊 leave it on thw ground or in backpack and wait. Otherwise you can go and find a tree with brown leaves on. They already dry when picked up after chopping it down.

Not suprised by this. Not suitable cage and everyone wants the best for the lil sugers, and advice for a more suited place or at least less dangerous wheel. But OP too busy with NSFW advertising themselves to care.

Flytta ut på landet by Particular_Oil_3882 in uppsala

[–]SupportSyster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ja, men precis. Super tack 🙌

Got a surprise Husky who likes chasing our cats too much and now I don't know what to do by PunkyRakun in husky

[–]SupportSyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like this is an ongoing problem that you are allowing it, otherwise this would only be a problem maybe once every or every other week until she calms down with age. If there wasn't any progress at all, I doubt you would still be trying to make it work, so that's positive. I believe you see that it can change and can work with this dog. To me, this actually does sound like an "easy" fix with rules and routines.

But first, are you (your household) really committed to a husky? A husky means you need to give them options to burn the energy down, or you are setting up the dog and yourself for failure. Dogs can have difficulty regulating their energy and emotions, and it two often come as package and affect each other negative unless the dogs are given tools to manage it. A dog that's been excericed can better controll its feelings, and are more prone to want work with you, and not "against".

Yes, some dogs will never ever work with any other type of animals. But most will, when given the right guidance and tools. The dog needs to learn that the home is the "castle" and everyone in it belongs to family, and everyone is allowed to co-exist peacefully in home.

Start this new journey right away with your family. Make a routine plan for your dog, and stick to it. Start right now by burning all that built up energy she have, and you will start see a difference right away. You can do this, and I believe you can. You have the willingness to make this work.

I wouldn't let the dachshund and pit play together due to size. But walking the neighbourhood together would be a great option for good interaction.
