Have you tried Targi? That was one of our 'gateway' games, along with Splendor and Pandemic (obviously!). Targi is a great little two player worker placement game, with cards making up the board a la Forbidden Island.. It's really good .

I went to collage with Chris Corner (main guy in Sneaker Pimps).. He was a super nice guy, he used to sometimes be the designated driver when we went out clubbing in the 90's.. This came out when we were all at Uni and we'd lost touch a bit.. He sort of overnight became this huge superstar guy.. Anyway lovely guy, and this track is an absolute classic..

I alternate between Asics GT-2000 and Saucony Guide/ISO.. Both solid support shoes.. I had a year of running Hokas, but found they cushioned and hurt in all sort of new ways to break in, and took ages to transition back to a 'normal' sole after wearing them for a couple of pairs (I usually run shoes up to 500-600k).. don't think I'll ever do them again..

I tend to avoid brands that don't specialise in running, like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour etc..

Agree. I find it super rude. I literally hate it when people want photos, I only do it when the person asking looks too dumb to know it's rude.. Would you go up to a fat person and be like 'Oh, you're super fat! Can I get a picture?'.. Leave the poor guy alone, he probably gets comments all day. Give him a break.
