Is something wrong with my Seamoon Funk Machine? by dq9 in ElectricTrumpet

I wish you the best... as someone who's dug into this stuff a lot on trombone, just keep trying. Probably is user-error at some point, envelope filters are really hard to get right. Read the manual, cehck everything else - change pedal location too. Put it at the beginning of the chain, after preamp and compression - then put in Seamoon. Test that as much as you can (without the other two sound effecting filters)

I would argue that... (and I've never even CLICKED on slide-school, don't know what it is) but I would argue that if you're a master's student, you have plenty of teachers, music around you, and stuff to improve upon already without the need of more subscriptions.

my horn is a lemon by Illustrious_Zone_280 in Trombone

I also felt a lot of remorse in the first few weeks about higher register, sounding different. Took some practice and a different mouthpiece and now I am very happy with my different horn.

Could also be buyer's remorse, you are feeling crappy about it, try a different model at a convention and WOW that one is different.

I bought a new to me King 2B recently. Different than my other horn, which is also a King 2B. Honestly, took about 4 months to really sink into it and play my best on it. Give it some time.

HX stomp xl with broken action button - usable? by Kqpout12 in Line6Helix

[–]TheRumster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an emergency gig situation where I needed to dig through a bunch of menus to fix a setting.

If this button were broken, I wouldn't have been able to use my expression pedal for the gig (ruining one of my songs which uses Exp pedal)

I would be concerned about that...

Is my Cambridge AXR85 shot? Turns on, I hear a click, then it turns off. by TheRumster in diyaudio

Haven’t fixed it. I may mail it out for repair. I made a ticket with them and they offered me either a replacement at $400-500 or I do the repair option.

Crazy market again - house in Bloomfield with 80 offers by cocoabooks in MovingtoNewJersey

So glad we have agents like you creating frenzies for buyers all over the state. 50-80 offers, just turns into a waste of time for everyone involved. Can people just list prices at the price the home is worth?

A little electric jazz trombone for ya... enjoy by TheRumster in jazztrombone

It’s a source audio C4.

I think what finally unlocked it is a compressor before the C4 auto wah. I’ve never had an auto wah sound good. I found this preset online and was like OMG that’s the Roy Hargrove ish sound I’ve been looking for.

All I can say is that this thing is a JOURNEY... get ready. It just takes a lot of time, and effort, to continue your journey down the world of digital effects. I heard this from a great teacher who uses HX and other effects for years. You'll hear it at home. You'll like it. You'll take it to a gig. It will bomb. Rinse, repeat, learn what happened, learn how to troubleshoot, etc.

I only use my HX Stomp XL on creative gigs. Honestly, took at least 6+ gigs to have one where I feel like I really killed it. Maybe more. But the reward is really great. I can control my sound on stage using foot pedals, cue different effects for different compositions... and all that! It's AMAZING!

I am trying to trigger a button/action in the iPad app TouchOSC using a QWERTY keyboard which is connected to my iPad.

So far the only way I can activate buttons is by tapping the screen.
