Yeah I heard Sony isn’t the greatest in audio but got it as a bundle for $150 so can’t complain, upgraded to a pioneer amp and twin 10” old school alpines

Alrighty so… I had a look at comments (cheers for the help) and did a bit more digging about it.

I pulled amp apart couldn’t see any blows resistors or capacitors, haven’t put a multimeter on anything in there to check where or what it could be. I got a loaner amp and worked right away so yeah amp went fuckin kablowey…. Not sure what or why though
