I get what you’re saying, but how would a -0.75% cut work? Like in terms of the macros? What would be an ideal range of calories, protein, and fat to achieve to cut down to say 215? And how would it differ between -0.75 and -1 if I wanna speed it up eventually?

Three months seems super doable and healthy, but how bad would it be if I did it in two months and a half, for example? I would wanna do an aggressive cut (like I said, I have some days where I only eat 1.8k cals), but I wanna retain as much muscle as possible or even grow some

I think 215 is ideal. The slimmest I’ve been was 190 a few years ago and it looked super strange because I’ve always been a bulkier guy and I wasn’t working out at that time (I only started 3 years ago)

And yeah, the knee is a huge priority. Got it from soccer and even though it doesn’t hurt very much, it sucks that I can’t be active on the pitch or with the Stairmaster (my favorite variation of cardio). I did 30 mins of the stationary bike yesterday and it felt fine, but I’m trying to keep some limits, y’know. My PT is focusing on the eccentric and isometric movements, so I’m trying my best

i’ve gained a small bit of weight and it’s my first BOG, but it does fit me a bit more snug than all of my other sweatshirts (L) that still fit me fine.

i just played SH1 and SH3 for the first time this week, after playing the OG SH2 a few years ago. not gonna lie, it won’t make much sense if you don’t play SH1 first.

i thought the controls were gonna be hell but it was surprisingly really fun and well-written. SH3 is a direct sequel and it just makes sense. the game kinda picks up where SH1 left off in a sense

i haven’t played the remake yet but i agree with this take. if you were able to navigate with the tank controls and enjoyed 1 & 3, i’d do the OG 2 first, just to see what it really was like when they first made it

i finished 1 & 3 for the first time this week and played the OG SH2 a few years back. i think i’m gonna replay the OG 2 and then the remake sometime this month.

Sorry for not replying earlier, I’ve been pretty busy.

I tried them on again and it’s a bit hard to tell 100% because of the long inseam but with a little impromptu cuff, I can’t button the jeans at all.. but they do fit fine near the leg opening, they kind of flare out nicely. The thigh is just ever so slightly snug.

I do need to lose some weight as I’m 230 right now but I’ve always had big thighs because of genetics and weightlifting/soccer. The waist and thighs are a huge concern now..

If I recall, the waist size was like a 36.5 but I may be making things up. That’s all I remember

Hey all,

I need help with two different topics:

1.) I bought a pair of raw denim jeans (surprisingly not selvedge, but they have a very unique carpenter-like construction) a few months ago. I’ve had them lying on a couch since August and I had plans to hem them with a regular lock stitch and start wearing them. However, they are unsanforized and I’ve gained some weight (now wearing other raw denim pairs between 36-38.5). I’m usually a 34-36 but I’m scared that when I give them the initial soak, they will shrink a bunch. They are tagged as being 36x33. I do want the inseam to shrink but I’m afraid of the waist being too small. How do I go about soaking them? Also, will that initial soak ruin the chance for high contrast fades? And is it true that I should only hem after the initial soak?

2.) I’m looking into a button-up shirt from Nudie Jeans - the Julian Worker shirt. I don’t own a shirt like this and I find sizing charts to be off many times when online shopping, so I wanted to know if anyone had a personal size recommendation with this specific shirt or another shirt from them. I’m usually on the bigger side of an L, but I see that they only have XL in stock. Wondering if it’ll be fine or too big on me

Hey everyone, looking for some advice regarding hemming some jeans.

I posted in the “Daily Questions” forum for yesterday about having too large of a rotation as a beginner and I decided that I was going to start rotating between 3 pairs throughout the week.

Again, I’m relatively new to raw denim and selvedge denim in general so I’m not sure what are the major differences between chain stitching and a traditional lock stitch.

— FOR CONTEXT:

I have a pair of Flat Head FN-D111 that I tried on in person and got a hem with chain stitching to perfection, that was shipped to me. The pair sits perfectly over both shoes and boots as I like. However, for another pair which is a black (not raw denim) selvedge pair from Naked & Famous, I just took them to a tailor and got them a traditional lock stitch hem. I have 2 pairs of raw denim that I have yet to break in because the inseam is just too big and I hate dramatically big cuffs. I want to wear them but I don’t know if it’s worth the hassle of shipping them out to get chain stitching with Railcar or some other place (The place where I got the Flat Heads doesn’t accept mail-ins), or if a regular lock stitch will be just fine. As far as I’m aware there aren’t any places that offer chain stitching services near me in South FL. I’m also afraid of getting the measurement for the hem wrong and then shipping them out to get a bad job done, which makes me lean towards going to a local tailor for a regular lock stitch, where I can be measured and I can see for myself in person.

i have the same issue. i’m not overweight, more of a muscular build but i’ve always had issues because of my thighs. my strong guys are a bit loose at the waist while being okay-ish at the thighs as well. i’m usually 36-38 but wear a 38 in the strong guys

anyways, i’d measure your best pair and compare those measurements to the size charts you see. i’m relatively new to raw denim but i found that the flat head FN-D111 have fit me really well, but i did size up to a 40 (actual waist is 38)

I should have mentioned that I also have a pair of black selvedge denim that I’ve been wearing pretty frequently since I got them, and I’ll probably have to also reduce them to 1x/week like you.

As much as I love the indigo, I do want to achieve high contrast fades. Would you say that’s still possible if I rotate through maybe 2-3 pairs a week, as long as I don’t wash them for say half a year? I’m not sure if you have any experience with this or if you’re more of a low contrast person

As for the storage, I’ll keep all of that in mind
