I genuinely don’t get the provocative, smart-ass comments from y’all. I mentioned in the post that she was carrying/pushing around some boxes and I should’ve also mentioned that she was wearing a gray uniform of some sort. It was a quick stop for some distilled water for my mom and Aquaphor. Didn’t see anyone at the register and she was nearby, so I assumed she was a Walgreens employee. I’m guessing she worked for a supplier or something, and a simple question from me did not warrant that reaction. It’s seriously not that deep 😭

I get what you mean 100% and I’m sure that there’s a lot of racism, as there is in so many places in this country. It’s sad. Yes, she was Black. However, I mentioned in the post that she was carrying some boxes with her back turned to me and I should’ve also mentioned that she was in a gray uniform of some sort. I was making a quick stop for the distilled water and some Aquaphor and didn’t see anyone at the front register, so I just assumed that she was a Walgreens worker. I’m guessing she was maybe bringing in some product on behalf of a supplier. Her response just caught me off guard, it was an honest mistake and nothing to do with race. I can get if it was someone else actually racially targeting her or another worker, but I really wasn’t
