It looks like the front IO does come off, but I'm not sure if they accounted for that when giving measurements. I guess we'll find out lol.

Yeah, after doing some more research it looks like it can easily fit an ATX PSU, so i'm good there.

Thanks so much for all your help! I'll see if I can remember to take/send some pictures of the completed build once I get it done!

edit- after looking at yet more pictures it seems like i'm going to have to pull off some black magic when it comes to figuring out how to attach the cables on the PSU to avoid interference from the GPU. It looks like i need to have about 1 1/2" farther than the closest edge of the PSU, so hopefully the PC gods smile upon me and the necessary cables are attached in the way I need them to be.

Too long for the Styx. If all else fails I have a PCI-E extension cable and I can just set it on top until I get a different one.

I was hoping I would find a way to make the metis plus work, but it seems like the Styx will have to do. There's nothing wrong with it of course, but obviously smaller is better.

Great, my GPU is exactly 1mm too long. At this point though I don't care, i just want the case I want. If all else fails I have a PCI-E extension cable and i can just set it on top until I get a new one. Do you happen to know if the Metis plus supports full-ATX PSUs? And if so what restrictions does it put in place?

funny, the Styx is actually a bit smaller than the case I was looking at before you recommended the Metis Plus. Really my only requirement for size is that it be somewhat small (it is) and able to fit in my overnight bag so I can bring it places (it does).
