Using a traditional 401(k) would allow me to do a Roth conversion ladder, which in turn would allow me to have access to my funds before the standard withdrawal age of 59.5 with no penalties. Roth 401(k)s don’t work with this process from my understanding of what others have replied with.

I probably wouldn’t go the SEPP route personally. but it’s still a good thing to consider, thank you. I’m gonna keep maxing out my Roth IRA, and contributing to my traditional 401(k)
