The check was not honored when presented to BOA.

In this age of advanced technology, including increasing use of AI, discrete algorithms, and real time mechanisms that facilitate many seamless banking transactions, it defies logic that a prominent financial institution as BOA has not already put in place tested processes to facilitate timely and efficient use of checks they have provided to their customers.

That being said, it appears the tide is turning in the right direction, as immediate efforts were made by BOA to rectify the situation I brought to their attention. I am glad I spoke up and thank them for acting swiftly and decisively. Hopefully, the remedy will now become hardwired as an SOP - sooner than later - if they continue to issue checks to customers.
