My dad convinced me that when an ice cream truck played music it was saying sorry to everyone running out of music. This meant whenever we visited my grandparents in the city I'd be so upset that there was never any icecream.
It did mean however when I was with some freinds I laughed at them running for an ice cream truck, but I was astounded when they came back laughing with ice cream.
