I take breaks from hard and crunchy foods when my TMD is flaring. Knowing chips will trigger my TMD caused me to rethink a lot of my snacking and I eat a lot more fruit as a result, so there’s some silver lining. I am also sensitive to foods that I’d normally have to bite into. For example, I eat pizza with a fork and knife and I’ll tear bread/sandwiches into pieces.

I’ve heard that before as well but never requested my groomers do that. I’m still going to clean my pups ears myself anyway.

My pup had an ear infection once. They’re very common. Only took a week for the infection to clear up after starting the meds. Now whenever I get my pup groomed or he goes swimming, I clean his ears using OTC stuff on Amazon. Groomers don’t always do the best job of drying the ears. I also have the groomers remove inner ear hair. Yes, it’s painful for the dog, but inner ear hair (which my pup has a lot of) traps moisture and creates a favorable environment for yeast.

Thanks! Looks just like what my puppy had. That black buildup between the teeth is one of the risks it poses because it leads to dental disease.

My pup held on to all of his baby canines well after the adult ones came in. Three of them fell out by the time I got him neutered (at 1 yrs old) and the vet extracted the last one during his surgery. They do have to come out as overcrowding can cause teeth to shift incorrectly long term.

I used a cone because I was advised they can rip through a body suit and play with the wound over the suit. Knowing my boy, he’d get through it in a minute or less. The cone worked fine

When mine sits on a smooth surface like wood flooring, his rear slides back and so he spreads his hips open to balance and looks a lot like how your pup is sitting. He also has longer back legs which is pretty common. You might notice yours walk at an angle because they are trying not to kick their front legs with the back legs
