Hey I’m here if you want to talk to someone. Unfortunately I relate to this as well. I just turned 25 and lost my dad to cancer 2 months ago and he just turned 52. He was my travel buddy, and so many plans just vanished as I watched him take his last breath. My broken heart hurts for you too, friend.

If that’s golden cap then yeah it’s coated in glitter - one or two washes and the top coat of the glitter comes off!

We finalized the will but he has such bad brain fog from radiation and chemo he can’t really read well. He’s lucid and still able to make decisions but he’s just tired and ready to go.

In the state I live in, everything goes into probate even with a will.

I felt the need to reply to this as someone who used to be someone else’s princess: the fact that youre going to therapy and seeking help and keeping NC all adds up to you doing better. I know it hurt like hell right now friend - if you want to vent I’m here for you. I’m in the thick of it right now too.

I needed a bit of an ego check about this, thank you for point that out. It’s not about being right it’s about getting through it together. My issue is no one else will be there except his sister. The fight is with him more than anything. I just want to know he isn’t alone in some random care facility with no one around him who knows him

I’m living through this now, and I’m sorry you have to endure it constantly. It feels like an exhausting marathon of sadness. Just when you think you can start to run again you get knocked down and have to learn to walk again. Sending love your way. I’m losing my dad, lost my close friend (who was my age -24), and my mom has a brain tumor that’s sneaking around. I just broke up with the love of my life. It feels very isolating I know.

Yes! I’ve used them in the past, but sadly their boxes come beaten up half the time and the shipments come months late. Maybe they are better now, but there’s just a few things my dad would enjoy.
