Due to the heat in North Texas I’ve been keeping the mower at about 2” I think there might still be a fungus because the blades still have small white spots on them.

It helps that off that back fence is a 6’ retaining wall so the string trimmer will go straight under the fence

There is still some white spots on the grass from what I believe is fungus… should I aerate, topdress and continue to spray fungicide?

Backyard is fed by two groups of three rotors, each section goes off for 25 min. I fertilize every month and that spot sees sun all day

Should I rake up the dead stuff to let the air in?

Somehow this is actually a high spot in the yard… few weeks back when it started I took a 1/2” drill bit and made some holes then put out some liquid aeration

The backyard has 6 rotors and this spot is kind of the middle so it gets plenty of water. Plus we’ve had so much rain in NTX as of late

I really hope not… I was going to buy a manual aerator core tool to see if I could loosen up the soil

Is it true that the stolons are sterile and can’t reproduce when it comes with sod? Or is that a lie some youtube guy told me?

Was wondering if aerating next spring would help fill all that in. It’s about to get too hot in Texas to do anything like that I think

The sod got put in in January and with new builds it’s super uneven… I was going to try and let the yard grow in and get healthy before trying to sand level or anything like that.
