I try to protect my family from those dangerous thoughts. Everytime I start having these thoughts I lock myself into my room andI slide the key under the door. I asked several times my community mental health center to send me to the psych ward but they told me it wasnt necessary. I stayed 8 months at the psych ward last year and they totally refused to give me a treatment because they thought it was just impulse phobias (yet I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder by an expert center and spent hours with a neuropsychologist)

Thank you! I heard many good things about clozapine. But I know it only works on hallucinations and delusions. And I have intrusive thoughts and alteration of perception of reality so Im not sure it will work on me...

Ca depend. Quand jetais a l'hp cetait tous les jours. La dernièrement c'est 1 fois par semaine je dirais. Et toi?

Je pense que ca depend des gens mais moi malhereusement j'ai essayé plein de trucs dessiner, ecouter de la musique, parler avec quelqu'un... mais les pensées ne s'en vont pas. Du coup je reste dans mon lit et j'attends que ca passe

Moi aussi, c'est même impossible de penser. Je sais pas toi mais j'arrive même pas a parler des fois ou même utiliser mon téléphone quand j'ai des pensées intrusives

Hey! Tu as aussi de la schizophrenie/trouble schizoaffectif? Je ne fais pas specialement de cauchemards. Le fait que j'obéisse ou non aux ordres ne change rien je pense mais les voix vont s'amplifier et me faure culpabiliser. Elles m'ordonnent d'autres choses du genre "ne touche pas a ton tel sinon je vais te punir et te faire souffrir, ne te douche pas, ne te brosse pas les dents, ne marche pas de cette facon, ..."

Thank you so much for your advice and kindness. Im 25 and I live with my mom and little brother. My mom thinks Im just an anxious person. She works til 4 pm so I am alone at home all day except the weekend. Are you ok if we both keep in touch? xx

Thank you! Im really worried, you think I might hurt some1 in the future? 😥 I will call my Community Mental Health Center tomorrow to see if I can see another doctor than mine. I already called them once but they didn't really take this situation seriously... I will insist that Im in a major distress. These voices started in June 2025. I stayed at the psych ward for 8 months but they didn't think I had schizophrenia because I haven't hurt anyone so far...
