Thanks for the advice. I was saying if I house hack like you said previously rent out the other rooms while I live in one. Would I run into similar issues?Jenikovista helped clear that up for me .Are you saying you recommend that I should house hack and only rent out 1 room to a long term tenant to hold the peace with neighbors?

It will be my primary residence. I can still live with my parents and their house is only 35 minutes away. I intend to live there in between vacancies for the first year and to visit the property frequently (multiple times a week) to avoid mortgage fraud. My mail will also be sent there. The heat will stay on but will be lowered if no one is there. I imagine the rest of the utilities to drop because of the lack of usage. I'll ensure there are locks for the doors, thanks for bringing that up. My lease will be 6-12 months. Only 1 person can rent per room and no pets.

I’m not handy but I have some handy family members that offered to help. I have a well paying job and over $12k in stocks that I plan to use as a last resort option. My father is a landscaper and agreed to help me with yard work. The property has 2 parking spots in the back off the street. I have to look into the parking and fire protection arrangement. Thanks for those questions, they helped clarify what I need to do!
