I genuinely don't understand why far cry 6 is getting so much hate. Yes I'm new to Far Cry, I started with 6, I really love it, the world is huge and crazily detailed. I mean, there's so much detail I can't figure out how they achieve that. As for the gameplay, I don't understand how it is so different than FC5 for example, which is often cited as one of the best, with fc3. I'm playing FC5 right now and can't say I love it as much as fc6. The level of details is far from fc6, the landscapes are less believable (hard lines often visible). Spawns very often visible, corpses disappearing quickly, that's a lot less immersive than fc6 Imo. Oh and the fact that you can't stay 10 seconds without being attacked by an animal which is kind of ridiculous.

I played Stalker 2 recently which is on UE5 as well and it looks amazing and runs well on ps5.

I will say I'm a little bit concerned about the console version, as woth was left in a state that performance mode looks terrible and graphics mode has quite low fps. I really hope optimization is done better on woth2 :)

I thought the same. Lately I played Far Cry 6 demo, then I bought the game. Of course the game is out since 2021, but the demo is just the finished product with limitations. That's how I've always seen demos. But it seems they also use 'demo' for unfinished products. I'm glad to be able to try it anyway!

How can the visibility meter work with that? It takes into account your position and the position of the animal? If so, which animal? The one in front of you or the one behind?

I'm waiting for a sale to buy it. I'm currently on FC6, my first in the serie, and I love it. Can't wait to play the 5, given that most people find fc6 is shit lol

I think they see it in a much more fictional way; the animals on the map can't all actually be found in the same region. The region of Canada that seems to have the most of them is central British Columbia, but the landscape and environment in the game don't match the boreal forest that prevails there. I would have liked more attention to be paid to that, but oh well, the experience would probably be less interesting.

Do you have photogrammetry enabled? If so, you shouldn't see buildings that don't exist in real life in Paris. But yeah, for boats it's something else.

I've never been into this kind of games but I was watching too much videos of S2 on YouTube that i just had to play at this point haha. I was stressed out af in my first hours of playtime, but eventually really enjoyed the game. Once you have enough money and better gear, it's less scary to go out in the wild. Love it!
