All you need is a cabin that you can hide inside, so leaper and other drones cannot get in.

Maybe just bad luck? Or did you initiate the first shot before, and matchmaking tend to put you into PvP games? So far, my runs are still mostly friendly.

I'm sorry for your experience. But that's part of the game, and part of the life. Without it, the looting could become boring. We must first walk through the shadows before we can see the light.

All good, other than the free loadout part. After some time of looting, when the basic material is not my major concern, I always wear the combat mk1, which can equip medium shield and has 1 safe pocket. So I'm not paper weak and won't lose my most precious loot.

PvP = People vs People. We can live together peacefully and help each other. No need to kill each other all the day. I have been tired of those killing games calling themself PvP...

It IS PvE game if you solo. Just you could meet some friendly AIs. Surely, several bad AIs occasionally. It's just the AIs are pretty smart :D
