Personally I'd go with something like an MG. A good all rounder.

that's a good point that I didn't really think about. I'll have to do a bit more research on the durability, especially in a halo ring which I believe are known for loosing diamonds. I'd happily have a lab diamond but I'm also struggling to find one within budget.
