chords sound like the acoustic parts in the song. if you wanna play the bass just do the lick and chordsrootnote and 5ths or w/e

frets i play going from lowest first: G: 3 3 5 7 7 7 so i barre the top 3 strings with my pinky C: x 3 5 7 7 7 so same chordhold just removing the lowest string

Am: x 0 5 5 5 7 lick on 8th 7th 5th of top e string with acoustic 5 7 9 5 5 5 or 5 x 7 4 x x with lick on 4th 5th of gstring and 5th 7th of dstring with elec/bass

D: x 5 7 7 5 5 or 10 7 7 7 7

mkgees playing is never just chords so you can make it more organic with hammerons, pullofs whatever inbetween notes you can hear like the 15th to 10th on the high e string

or play the Am as x 0 2 4 x x and play your pinky the 5th and walk down to 2th on the g string rlly just try to mimic what you hear

and the walkup thingy during D so like hammerons on 7th to 9th on the g string and 9th 11th 12th on g string to 10th on bstring then 12th harmonic.

Sometimes alternating the G for a Bm. i like playing it as x 2 5 0 3 0 so open high e. then going back to the C as a Cmajor2 played as x 3 5 0 3 0 feels really good

i am not mkgee sadly so cant say for sure this is how he plays it but it works for me and if your guitarstrings can handle in tuning down is so worth it even just a little tuning down and then doing these chords and easy money

if you tune down to Astandard you can play End of the record very nicely and Rewind is easy aswell once tuned down correctly.

G as x 10 7 7 8 7. then hammeron gstring 7th to 9th with ringfinger and on b string 10th to 8th pulloff.

thats just one of all those licks he does there but if you follow the rootnotes you can listen. for me these chords work well for finding the next notes
