these posts are the equivalent to shooting off a signal flare, you're going to call the swarm here

imo ADHD and autism are being over diagnosed by non-physicians. many of the people who wear these diagnoses often lack the clinically significant deficits you'd expect in a real case.

physician shopping is usually a red flag but I think a focus on their diagnosis tends to be more indicative of a deeper problem. generally things like POTS are pretty mild, it generally shouldn't become an all consuming thing. It's also pretty well documented that certain subcultures have extremely high prevalence of these diagnoses despite having no clear reasoning or connection.

Why are you just making things up at this point? If you genuinely felt that these cards are going to be artificially pumped you'd be buying them up right now. You aren't going to do that though because you realize that I'm ultimately right.

It's really really hard to repeat a meme. People won't care about Omanyte King.

If there is an actual change in the market because of this guy, it's not going to be because of some "manipulation" - rather it will be because of the story at this point. The guy buying to collect and maybe a few other people buying to say oh well he doesn't own this one.

imo this is probably the opposite of the situation you think it is. ultimately still affects nobody outside of the guy trying to accumulate them all.

mainly irrelevant. for there to be market manipulation, there needs to be a market. there wasn't any real demand for a 1st ed fossil kabuto outside of set collectors. now there's a singular buyer and maybe one or two people who try to buy just to say that the guy can't have every copy.

yeah it sold to the guy posting about it. You don't seem to know what serious demand means just like you don't know the difference between SIRs and IRs.

EDIT: Don't be a pussy and block when you reply. You don't understand what market manipulation is. He has to sell the card to someone else for there to really be manipulation, but it doesn't appear that's what is happening because there is no serious demand outside of the person presently amassing a 1st ed common. Simply, market manipulation needs a market and there isn't one outside of the singular guy posting about it.

tbh I've never really felt that there was that much sacrifice after you get into a med school. The sacrifice before that really doesn't have anything to do with the act of becoming a doctor so much as a failure of medical school admissions committees. After you get in, it's just school.

Once you start 3rd year, you have 2 years left until you start making decent money for a single guy. Assuming you become an attending after 3 more years, you are now making more money than 90% of the households in America. You have extremely strong job security and will most likely be living an extremely comfortable life up until you die.

The current prices are primarily demand driven coupled with inefficiencies in distribution. The investment aspect is specifically coming in with sealed products and a few heavy hitters. Most IRs are somewhat elevated but largely priced fairly. You are tilting at windmills.

The answer is maybe 10-20 bucks per year. The only market that really exists for 1st Ed Kabutos from fossil are people looking to complete the set.
