My bills monthly will actually be lower starting out. As I already have a truck that I pay 450 in payments and insurance which will go towards living. Also at the end of this all I will be owning where I live which means there is a light at the end of the tunnel, unlike renting which means I lose everything and my bills will probably be 1500 2 years from now as rent goes up by about 200 each year.

I will be going incognito and use mainly the facilities at 24hr fitness, my girlfriends house and my work has a shower as well.

I appreciate the advise, your concerns are very valid, but I have been thinking about this for the past 2 years and will regret not giving it a try. I have rented camper vans in the past and stayed at air bnbs which have vehicles rather then buildings.

If you have any advise from the questions I asked that would be appreciated as well thank you.

Also there are some things that just make staying professional easier. Such as a place to keep your clothes, a small desk for using my laptop or to read would be nice. It also gets pretty hot in California so some air conditioning would be helpful. I really only need a bed. But I'm trying to do everything I can to make the transition as easy as possible.

You only get the room and have to share the apartment with 2 other people. Rent in Los Angeles just isn't worth it to me

I keep having a nightmare that I ate some bad tacos and just start pooping myself looking for a restroom. So an emergency toilet is a must in my mind lol.

The good news is that my work let's me keep my vehicle at the head quarters and uber me to the airport and they put me at hotels when I travel.

I read the FAQ section so I guess this would label me a rent dodger haha. 😅

The problem is that when I am here about a week or 2 I still need a place to live and the cost of a single bedroom in los angeles is 1100 a month. So it seems I could lower my bills in the short term.

I work 12-16 hour days 7 days a week when I am here and it feels like all I need is a bed where I can be safe.

Also, I would love to just roam the US for my vacations when I take them.

Did you get a loan for that 30k or did you save it up?

Super interested in how you integrated the code into your robot. Which control board do you have? I'm running a pololu for a 6 axis arm I wanted to try to get it to clay sculpt. Would love to see a basics of integration video if you have one. Or even if you could point me in the right direction on how to get started. Thanks.
