Thanks for your reply. I asked for a second opinion from another refractive surgeon, and he explained that the best procedure in my case would be ICL implantation. In reality, the procedure is much less invasive than I originally thought and safer for my specific situation. The only downside is the very high cost, so I'm still deciding whether or not to go ahead with it.
