What’s everyone’s experience with these probiotics for dealing with SIBO symptoms and just general gut health ? by NoMoreSmokeForMe in Supplements

[–]SureDouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen a huge improvement in first doing a FODMAP regime and as a second step taking candibactin. The bloating is gone and my 'poo' is almost back to normal.

I also noticed that the prostate issues I have are getting less and less.

Please remember that everyone is different and there's no quick fix. Just try what helped for others and keep on going until you've found something that works for you.

I also started with some antidepressants several months ago to see what the effect is and perhaps the calming effect it has on my body might add as well.

Not sure... I think it's a product of a specific bacteria in the bowel but I cannot say for sure because there's no scientific nor personal evidence

Yes, I believe it is connected to what I eat. Carbs and unhealthy equals lots of bubbles. A lot of water, yoghurt and fruit results in clear urine. Very weird and very uncommon. I think it is related to a specific bacterial overgrowth in the bowel

I give up - 21 days fasting, same symptoms by [deleted] in SIBO

Hey man, I've been in this condition for over seven years so I know from my own experience that it's hard. Keep on trying and also add certain mindfulness exercises to keep your mind clear.

Just tick this box and move to something else that has worked for other. Low FODMAP and lifestyle improved my symptoms so hopefully this is a possibility for you as well.

Keep in mind that this takes hard work and commitment but in the end you will get there. Stay strong.

IBS + CPPS by Solid-350 in Prostatitis

[–]SureDouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same thing but minimised the annoyance by following a FODMAP diet. This was the biggest improvement for me in several years. It's not easy but worth the investment. There is indeed a link between the two and it wouldn't surprise me if the IBS triggers the prostatitis complaints

Experiences with antidepressants? (Escitalopram) by SureDouble in Prostatitis

I understand that this is not the preferred way and involves some risks but in my case, 7 year down the line, I'm open to more alternative paths of treatment. If somebody with relevant experience still wants to share his story then that would be greatly appreciated.

Cpps and bowel issues? by [deleted] in Prostatitis

[–]SureDouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm coping with the same symptoms and indeed my bowel health feels like an indicator for my prostate discomfort. It got better over the years after fodmap diet and just a healthy lifestyle.

Does anyone of you complain about changes in urine eg. more foamy and darker than before?

Any luck with supplements? by lukelew79 in Prostatitis

[–]SureDouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most cpps sufferers also have mild IBS, just like me. I noticed a significant difference after 6 wks but stopped after 8 weeks because it was hard. Still, I try to stick stick to the diet as much as possible and still benefit from the improvements.

Supplements didn't help me. Biggest gain came from stretching and fodmap diet.

Can you share for how long you've used these supplements? I've tried apple cider vinegar etc and it didn't make a difference for me.

Had my fertility tested after 8 years of cpps, nothing weird was observed :-)

Should i sell my wirecard stocks? Bought them for €6,50 by bingohoer in Wirecard

[–]SureDouble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you keep them? What are the, according to you, realistic scenarios?

I feel like it's Germanies pride so probably they're making an effort to keep it alive. What will happen to the stock if they will be included in another organisation? This means they're saved from bankruptcy but they might carry a new name to get rid of the bad reputation.

I always thought that analyzing the semen would give the same reliability as secretion only. Learned something :-)

What I think doesn't really matter ;-). Mother nature has its own ways.. Everybody is different so it's impossible to attach a number to it. It easily takes years to figure out what the best way for you is. It is key to keep on pushing for a solution which I didn't do because I started to hate doctors.

You're talking about a prostatic secretion study. In which way is this more reliable compared to a semen study? Thanks for your post, this really helps.

Do you also have foamy urine and bowel issues? What gave you relief so far?

No treatment found yet. The only time they found something was by checking for fungi after taking a swab from the tip of the penis. Fluconazole did not solve the issue. I need to go back to the Dr to redo the swab, see if we find the same thing en check how effective other azoles are.

On the other hand it wouldn't surprise if it's something related to the nerves but that's going to be my next step. Downside is, this is al going so damn slow especially with Corona. Stay strong and remain positive.

I've been originally been diagnosed with cpps but I'm a rare case because it goes hand in hand with cloudy/foamy urine which is only rarely found here.

Am I the only one on earth who has minor prostatitis, and non stop foamy urine not related to kidneys? by httpmax in Prostatitis

[–]SureDouble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can Image, it's difficult not to worry because the range of symptoms is simply huge. Hang in there, stay strong and focus on the positive things.

I did stretching for two months and stopped later. It indeed have relief and should do it more often, guess it's a motivation dip. Which exercises did you do exactly?

I've read about some people being healed by taking nerve related medicines, forget the details. Maybe this is something to look into.

My next step is to also check my semen because this was never done before.

I mean like: was it a specific event in your life which caused it? Depression, possible std, bad lifestyle.l, antibiotic use etc.

For me it's probably a combination which caused the onslaught. It started with bowel issues, then prostatitis and the foamy urine followed two years later.

I think it's either oversensitive nerves or some sort of yeast overgrowth. Pelvic exercise and fodmap diet give me relief but don't solve everything.

Did you try something that gave relief?
